Survivor

Sol has really battled back from the bottom. I just think he over acted at tribal trying to show he wasn't the one that gave the advantage Rachel.
I too was concerned that he may have led on too much but I'm hoping not. We watched it on Paramount+ and it didn't show the clip for the next episode so I'm not sure if that was talked about there.

Him finding that advantage was pretty cool, he at least deserves a shot at working the game

At first when Rachel didn't play her idol I was thinking that may have been a big mistake but now I think it was genius playing her shot in the dark instead. Now they all think she has no advantage and may target her next week and she can pull that bad boy out of her pocket and we'll get another week of shocked faces!!! I just hope she doesn't tell anyone she has it.

was hoping Gabe went home but not sad to see Sierra go.

My guess is at some point she ends up telling Sol about it.

The auction was awesome!
I didn’t like that they needed to get rid of all their money so they wouldn’t lose their vote. It basically became the people with the most money betting it all and the people with lower amounts getting shut out.

I don’t remember seeing an auction on Survivor in ages though. Maybe it’s always been this way?

In season 45 there was another auction in the "new era" (post season 40/Winners at War) and it was the same mechanic of the person with most money at the end looses their vote.
It wasn't this way in the pre season 40 Survivor episodes.

I don't like it either, but I love the auction. It adds a little bit of levity for me. I could do without watching people eat grubs though, thats just gross.

I think they still have some tweeking to do but hopefully they keep some form of it.

I mentioned last season of Survivor that telling them in advance about the last one left with the most money loses their vote is a bad thing to do. It should be something you find out after the auction has ended because all it does is make someone spend all their money for one thing especially when they've been told by Jeff that they are in danger. It takes the intrigue out of it, one would probably expect the opposite to occur where the most money means an advantage or something, usually in an auction you're trying to spend as little as possible on an item.

But it's not something they can fix now since they already filmed, they have to do it like other things and listen to how viewers take it and change it for future filming.

The grubs are old school way, they used to have to eat insects and such in the early days of Survivor at the auctions and while gross aren't as bad to me as the fish eye stuff 🤮 I fastforward through that.

I have some serious doubts about poor Andy. First he couldn't get any money for the auction, then when the peanut butter thing came up they could've thrown him a bone and let him in on it. I do like the twist that they can't share.

I've been wondering if he's acting clueless on purpose. No one could've missed all those tubes on purpose!! But he's also starting to really strategize and make some moves so that's what makes me think he's acting clueless.

Why the heck are they all letting the one tribe remain intact? I was sad to see Sol go. I thought he had a shot but now the remainders are just going to get picked off. On another note, Sue is the poster child of how bad you'll look as you age with lip filler, fake boobs and spray tan. And the fact that she plays it off that she's in her 40's laughable.

And each episode she looks older. It’s like her face is melting or something. At this point she looks much older than her real age.

The game will change drastically when they decide to go after Rachel and she pulls out her idol. I was really hoping they’d send Sue home and not Sol. I can’t believe they all think she’s in her 40’s!!!
I was really hoping that Rachel was going to play her idol for Sol. Then Sue would have gone home and everyone would have been gobsmacked.

I think leading up to tribal and tribal itself was way to chaotic for her to even think of using it on him. I think she was smart to hold on to it and use it for a bigger shock down the road.

Maybe.

But the bigger shock may be her own if she holds onto it too long and gets blindsided herself.
