Does anyone else hate when previews reveal too much of what is going to happen on the next show? I just saw a preview of Thursday's show and it was talking about how the tribe reacts after the merge. Why do the do that?!

The only person I find semi-interesting and am rooting for is Chad and that's just because he's missing a leg but still does so much.

I knew when they showed Sarge making that statement that his team would lose. That is just how they have been editing the show lately.
Showing him all full of himself, means they lost.

I wish they would mix the show up. Keep them guessing and us guessing.

I don't think that it is a normal merge.

The tribes are both expecting a merge. I don't think that they would react that way for just a normal merge. There must be some kind of twist (or it is just clever editing).

Each week my mom asks how he is doing. I am liking him for that reason also.

This season does seem a bit boring.

P.P.S. I just went back and watched, it definitely looks like a black cord going right into a white colored outlet in the tree stump.

My daughter who is 8 noticed this right away...I was glad to have tivo and rewind several times to confirm the cord that they didn't even try to hide...makes you wonder what else they have...I have always thought that they all look much better than I would if I didn't have a brush, soap, razor etc for a month....

I honestly think they do, but I hope they change it up a little bit.

AHHHH, that electrical cord explains alot!! Like why there are not extremely hairy legs or unkempt bikini waxes to be found on any of the ladies. Sure, you see a hairy armpit now and again, but that can be for show.
Most of us would have hair PLAINLY visible after a week, let alone 30 days. And has anyone else noticed the white teeth this season....mmmmmm, I believe I remember more conflict about smells, etc. in the first few seasons.
Sounds like the producers have "prettied it up" a bit and lost something in the process as this season is really boring so far.

Ok is anyone else just NOT excited about this Survivor....I mean there is really no MAJOR stand out characters...and there is no real good conflict. We are pretty far into it already, and I still am not sure who some of the people are yet..LOL...

I lost my excitement during season 3(even though Ethan was a FINE speciman to look at week after week AAAHHH) Season 3 was painfully boring. I never really got excited much after that. Except, Pearl Island. Rupert and Johnny Fairplay brought alot of life back to the show.

Now I just watch it without rooting for anyone. I will watch it week to week, but I haven't had any stand-out favorites the past few season's.

I will say, I was very passionate about Lil NOT winning Pearl Island! I couldn't beleive she made it to the final two!!!!

Not a laughing matter, Dax. It's a fact. I get so confused over who is who with the women. However, it has gotten a little easier since the teams were mixed up and Lisa was voted out.

I am so NOT into this season but I have been trying. But tonight, as matter of fact, I am going out shortly for dinner with "the girls" at the office. DH said he will record show for me but not sure if I really care if he does or doesn't.

dzneelvr - SO funny. You are right in that the electric cord explains a lot. I was beginning to get an inferiorty complex thinking no way do I look as good as some of these women do on a GOOD day for me now. I can't even imagine how I would look after only three days on an island supposedly with nothing. I guess that it why we don't hear anything about those special items they got to bring along in prior shows. What were they called again?... you know, some people bought a bible, or a journal or eye liner or a Magic 8 ball.... what were they called?

Luxury Items.

The contestants list 5 things they would like to take as a luxery item during the application process. If they are chosen for the show, the Producers CHOOSE one of the things off the list for their luxury item.

I would list:

toothbrush
floss
mouthwash
plaque scraper
peri-brush

That way, I am BOUND to get my dental hygiene taken care of! I hate what my teeth feel like If I haven't brushed, I can only imagine if I had to go 39 days!

I am VERY happy with the votes..he was the most annoying of the players IMO.

So, I only caught the last few minutes of the show. Was Twila sopposed to vote with the men? The men looked shocked when Rory was voted off. I think it will be very interesting if the women can take it all the way to the end. I just might keep watching it then.

I'm glad that I'm not the only one who isn't impressed with Survior this season.
I find everyone to be so flat. There's no one who really stands out. I also find a lot of them to be quite annoying, especially Ami and Rory (yay, for him being gone! Can Ami be next?).
As far as rooting for someone, I'm gonna go with Chad. Not because he's only got one leg, but because he's a teacher. When my timer reaches zero that means I get to be a teacher too!
I really don't know if I'm going to finish watching the rest of this season. It really doesn't seem worth it. I don't get really excited watching challenges that they do, which I've done before.
All in all, this season is kinda dull.
Although, where they are is really pretty.
Maybe I'll just watch for the foliage.

It looks as if it'll be women vs. men to the end. I was beginning to like Rory - oh well. I can't stand Ami, but it doesn't look as if she'll get voted off for a while.
