~ SURVIVOR Samoa ~ Season 19 ~

They don't re-air the episodes. You can wait for the recap show they air around Thanksgiving. Or you can just go to CBS.com and watch the full episode there.

Excellent. Thanks. I will just hook my laptop up to my HDTV and watch it on CBS.com then.

I agree with you. I guess it wasn't against the rules to do that but it was so dirty and low handed it was disgusting to watch him after that.

I was truly hoping they caught on to him and kicked him out.

ITA w/you, MuffyJo!!! BUT I bet Jeff has another plan for this scum bag!!! ::yes::

They are filming this and so they KNOW what he has done....I am sooooo sure this will be addressedif not sooner than later! :thumbsup2 Jaison scratching his head trying to figure out where his socks went....and NO ONE says a thing...

And whoever said that Betsy the Policewoman is on to this scum bag....ITA!!!! ::yes::

I guess it was due to the editing, but I didn't get why the others didn't seem to question each other about why their canteens were empty. They just showed them all being puzzled about it, and him with that poop-eating grin on his face. They had to know it was one of their own people who did it, right? It's not like some jungle headhunter crept into the camp and emptied their canteens. :confused3

ITA:thumbsup2

Russell was up prowling around all night and when he was spilling out the water you could hear it as plain as anything plus someone was in the camera shot (in the light) just lying down right behind him as he did it:confused3

They are being filmed, obviously by another person with a fairly large camera....not one person wondered why the cameraman was 15 feet (I'm guessing the distance) away over by the canteens and then in the morning the water was gone

Then when he was done his antics, he squashed his big body tightly between 2 "sleeping" girls--it was a tight fit and yet neither of tose girls said "well, Russell was missing for quite awhile!"

To all those who say they stop watching a show due to whatever reasons--do you really stop watching when a show is obviously edited/scripted for cause and effect with the viewers?

for me,
he is just such a gross 'human being' that his antics just make the show too disturbing to watch.
& that is a lot for me to say.
I usually watch anything.........

& I am sure that saggy dirty underwear fashion thingy is just gonna get.... worse.:scared1:
my eyeballs will soon fry :3dglasses

I have watched every episode of survivor & have loved the show. there have been past 'little' sabotages that have not bothered me. but what Russell is doing is really turning me off . my opinion is it really is disgusting  , putting the health of others in the tribe jeopardy ( no water & even a lost pair of socks could cause foot sores that might not heal).
I am truly deciding if I will even watch the rest of the season.

Hi all! I missed last night's episode and just finished watching it on FiOS On Demand. I'm wondering......I know the producers have some "rules" for the show, and one of them is probably that you can't intentionally hurt another Survivor. Ok, so Russell dumps their water, but they can get more water so he's not really doing much harm, just inconveniencing them. But what if Jaison's blisters get infected and he has to leave for medical reasons? I wonder if the producers would then show the rest of the tribe what Russell's been up to, or maybe even throw Russell off the show?

I think they know that somebody on their own tribe dumped the canteens. Could be they're lying low and trying to figure out who did it so they don't act too fast and get rid of somebody who could really be an asset in the game. And face it, Russell IS an asset in challenges, he's just a evil devil back at camp.

I, too, saw somebody stirring in the night while the camera was showing Russell dumping the canteens - it looked like one of the girls. So if, on the one hand, you've got this "weak" girl telling the rest of the tribe that she saw Russell dumping the canteens, and on the other hand Russell is going around talking about how "dumb" the girls are, the rest of the tribe is thinking "Is she telling the truth or does she know she's weak and is trying to save her butt at tribal council?" Right now, they don't know each other well enough to know who's lying and who's not.

I think the policewoman (Betsy??) is going to be the one who figures out what Russell is up to; I just hope she does it soon and that the rest of the tribe believes her!! If they do, I think she'll go far in the game.

Right now my favorites are the policewoman, Shambo, and Jaison.

Russell must be very different in person, because he gives me MAJOR creeps! I'm surprised they are all pretty much going with what he is saying. If I was there, I would be scared he'd slit my throat in the middle of the night!

And exuse me CBS, where is my Jeff? Dr. Mick is awful nice to look at, but he's no Jeff!

The thought of Jeff...in his tight boxer briefs...24/7 in the jungle....

I am with the group here. I can't stand Russell. Dumping out the water was way wrong and then burning Jaison's sock, I just couldn't believe it. It should be written somewhere in the rules that destroying other people's property is off limits.

I just had a thought... And don't get me wrong because I really can't stand Russell and think that it was especially despicable that he used Hurricane Katrina as a means to get sympathy... but how about when Rupert stole the other tribe's shoes?? Would this (emptying canteens and burning socks) come under the same category within the game of Survivor?? :confused3 I have to say, I think it's extremely stupid to sabotage your OWN tribe though....

My personal opinion of all the castaways:

1. Ashley- Spends a little to much time worrying about how much she works out, relationships, and chatting. I would have gotten very annoyed with her VERY fast...

2. Ben- I disliked him at first, but him and that trademark grey streak have grown on me. He is blunt, and egotistical, but that makes him all the more funny.

3. Betsy- Um, something about leaving your husband who is in remission at home, with three or four? children seems wrong. Seems like a smart gal other than that.

4. Brett- Wooo weee, he is a looker! Holy cow that boy is fiiine ;) Haven't really gotten a chance to peak into his mind yet...

5. Dave- Smart for not letting the women tempt him, and how he plans on using their flirting to his strategy.

6. Liz- Woooo baby she is smart. Three ivy league schools? Let's just hope she can use some of those book smarts...

7. Eric- NIIICE. He is very good looking and can certainly use his desire to be a con man in this game. I think he will go far.

8. Jaison- Seems like a really down to earth, hardworking, and all around nice guy.

9. John- At first I thought he was going to be another Oscar just from his build, but that swimming challenged stomped that thought to dirt. Another VERY good looking guy, with a lot of brains.

10. Kelly- Pretty, but a little out there. Reminiscent of a previous dread lock wearing survivor chick whose name slips my mind. She seems fun though.

11. Laura- She is supposed to be a grandmother? She looks fabulous! She seems friendly, but sneaky.

12. Marissa- I actually liked her. Oh well.

13.Nick- Um you can put me to sleep any day doctor  His looks alone are enough to make him a favorite of mine. Though he seems kind of lost in the game, saying he wouldn't be surprised if he got voted off without his knowledge.

14. Mike- Hmmm, I'm thinking after two knee surgeries and everything else he has going on health wise he is more of a liability for the show than anything else....:confused3

15. Monica: Is she the grandma? Oh well neither her or Laura made an impression I can't tell whose who.:rotfl:

16. Natalie: Hello anybody home?

17. Russell: Hate to love him, but you gotta! All he wants to do is "raise hell". :woohoo:

18. Russell S: I really like him, seems like a motivational speaker to me. Keeps everyone going, keeps the faith.

19. Shambo: Rock on sister. Seems like a very strong woman.

20. Yasmin: Is afraid of her extensions falling out!

There is my long winded run- down of the twenty castaways!

Favorites:
-Ben
-Erik
-Jaison
-Nick
-Russell S.
-Russell
-Liz
-Kelly

Least favorites:
-Betsy
-Natalie
-Ashley

Russell seems a little sociopathic to me.

I can't stand Russell. Other than him I haven't really gotten a good feel for the players yet.

It all seems a little scripted this year. Russell is too evil too soon. I don't know that I'm going to watch this season.

I'm hoping our reaction to Russell on this thread is indicative of the national audience's reaction to him and CBS gets the message, because I agree with a previous poster. If this season turns into the Russell show, I ain't watching.

ITA! :thumbsup2

Russell is a CREEP!

Frankly I am surprised that we have not seen a "Russell" much earlier than this season.

From what we saw in the show it seemed too easy for him to do these things. The trust level people have going into to this game is already too high in my opinion.

As for his actions - the water I thought was merely annoying. They had fire and were able to have more water soon. So it merely wasted time.

The socks however are a completely different story. Proper foot care is very important! How many times have people had to leave the show in the past becasue of infected cuts? Quite a few. Your feet get the worst of it. I see this a just being malicious.

On this point - why did that one girl wear high heels? :confused3

It amazes me season after season as I watch the first show to see exactly what the contestants are wearing as they will wear those items the entire 39 days. I have no plans to ever be on Survivor but I think every season as I am watching the show just what pieces of clothing I would wear if I were on the show!!!

RUSSELL = I am so thinking that his team members will be on to him SOONER than later. ::yes:: Yup, they are not stupid, they will figure out as each other talks to each other that Russell is a SNAKE and needs to go. :headache: Wait until they find out (probably at this point on the Finale as Survivor shows footage from the season) what a LIAR he is!!! :headache:
