Keep in mind that everyone wins money on Survivor, even the first person voted off. The winner wins $1M, the second place survivor wins $100K, but #3 still wins a significant amount of money -- $50K I think.

To me this is not enjoyable to watch people go to all kinds of lengths to win money.

Of course, different folks have different levels of tolerance for such behavior. You and I draw the line on one side of what Jon did, while others draw the line on the other side. Hopefully more people agree with us than with the others.

We actually have no idea whether he does that: All we see on air is what the producers decide to show. The Tribal Councils last about 45 minutes, and we only see about four or five minutes of the discussions.

I don't think Lil would do as well in final two as many people think. She was an Outcast that came back into Morgan with a lot of animosity. After the merge, she turned against her old tribe and voted out Andrew. She lied to Rupert and voted against him at TC. I also don't think Burton or Jon would give her any votes because of their opinion that she rode their coattails to even get this far.

I conjectured a bit and "tallied the count" with different head to head rankings:

Sandra vs. Lil - Sandra will win:
Sandra 7 votes (Christa, Rupert, Darrah, Burton, Jon, Ryan, Tijuana)
Lil no (0) votes

Darrah vs. Lil - Darrah will win:
Darrah 7 votes (Christa, Rupert, Sandra, Burton, Jon, Ryan, Tijuana)
Lil no (0) votes

Sandra vs. Darrah - Darrah will win:
Darrah 5 votes (Burton, Jon, Lil, Ryan, Tijuana)
Sandra 2 votes (Christa, Rupert)

Sandra vs. Jon - Sandra will win:
Sandra 6 votes (Christa, Rupert, Darrah, Lil, Ryan, Tijuana)
Jon 1 vote (Burton)

Darrah vs. Jon - Darrah will win:
Darrah 6 votes (Christa, Rupert, Sandra, Lil, Ryan, Tijuana)
Jon 1 vote (Burton)

Lil vs Jon - Lil will win:
Lil 4 votes (Christa, Rupert, Sandra, Darrah)
Jon 3 votes (Burton, Ryan, Tijuana)

So...

If Darrah gets immunity at final three, she can pick anyone and have a pretty good chance of winning.

If Sandra gets immunity at final three, she needs to pick anyone BUT Darrah to have a shot at taking it all.

If Lil gets immunity at final three, she can only win against Jon if he is somehow still around.

And Johnny Fairplay (aka "Johnny Rotten") has virtually no chance at winning against anyone except Lil.

PS - Wouldn't it be wild if MB flew in Jon's grandmother to sit in the live audience during Sunday's finale. I can just imagine the wisecracks that Jeff can come up with when they zoom in on a split view of Jon and granny discussing that reward challenge.

would love to see Jon make the final two. I think Jon in the finals, would push the ratings through the roof. Everyone would want to see him get his comeuppance.

I think Lil and Darrah are going to team up and vote together.

If Sandra wins immunity, I think Jon will be gone. Otherwise, I think Sandra is gone.

Let's see if the challenge involves swimming, Sandra's short suit.

^ Thats probably why the producers didn't let anyone know about Jon's Grandmother. They would love to see him in the final 2.

When Survivor I was first announced, this is exactly what I expected ... didn't watch Survivor I at all, didn't watch II until the final episode, and eventually got to where I'm watching from episode one of the season ... it's finally become what I expected from the start

Steve - Your scenario was really interesting on who would vote for whom........however, I disagree with Sandra vs. Darrah.

I think - Darrah - Lil, Burton, Ti
Sandra - Rupert, Christa, Ryan (he has spent way too much time with Rupert becoming buddies, plus he was part of the "fist knocking" when Burton was voted out) and Jon (because he will recognise that Sandra really played the game well)
So I think it'll be 4 to 3, with Jon (of all people) being the deciding vote!! Oh the irony of it all!

Just about 10 hours and we'll know here on the east coast.......

Hopefully they won't be doing any special "Capture of Sadam" during that time..........

OMG I totally agree with you.....Cabana boy....I hope they do play him like a fiddle to get what they want done!

I agree with voting off Burton before Jon, because I think that Burton has a better chance then Jon at winning the next Immunity and then they would be stuck with him.

I think Jon should go next, then Lill and Darrah should win (because I have a bet at work and I picked Darrah...lol)

Yzma and Kronk -

Rupert might be friendly with Ryan, but I think that Tijuana will have told all about her "alliance" to vote out Burton...and how that got "T" caught off guard. Ryan, Darrah, and T have been very tight and voted unaniomously throughout the entire show (with the exception of Ryan's own evcition).

Jon might recognize Sandra's game play was a little dirty and appreciate it for what it is. But I think Jon is far too shallow and had too many campfire yelling matches to hand Sandra $1 Million.

Like you said, we'll find out tonight but it's fun guessing the outcome.

60 minutes will be on from 7-8pm with a special about the capture followed at 8pm by Survivor. They just announced this during football so no need to worry!!

I actually think that Darrah will end up winning.

I mainly hope Johnny Rotten gets the boot....

What I *think* will happen-

1st immunity challenge- one of the girls will win. Jon will get the boot.

2nd immunity challenge- I have a feeling that if Darrah or Lil wins it, they are going to vote off Sandra- Sandra has been a great player and I know I wouldn't want to go up against her in the final two. If Sandra wins it, she will probably bring Lil with her- even though she says "I would be afraid to go against Lil" I think she is just saying that to be on Lil's good side. I honestly don't think any of the others would vote for an outcast, I really don't.

I honestly don't think Jon will be booted off. I think he will make it to the Final 2. It really would be crazy to vote him off, since he really would be the best one to go up against.

My theory...

Unless Jon wins immunity, the women will vote him off. Darrah will win immunity next, taking Lil to the final two with her. Darrah will stand a better chance against an outcast than against Sandra.
