After watching Survivor, most of us are eager to compare notes about what we saw. Should those of us who live on the east coast have to wait until after midnight because the west coasters might read what we say???? Shouldn't the onus be on the west coasters to avoid the thread until after they have seen the episode?

I agree with you, and I think that is the way it should be and it really is.....I know when I miss an episode and I have taped it, I avoid this thread like crazy until I see the show.
Im sure that is the same for West Coasters.

I saw Christa on the Early Show but can't remember much of what she said. I was more focused on the way she was acting, which was kinda loopy! She was dressed different than most of the Survivors have dressed on the show, wearing a short black, strapless dress, and I think she had on long black gloves. I know Harry commented on her attire.

And she was giggly and waving at the camera when a caller would call. I really can't remember a thing she said, her behavior was just so funny!

Harry: So when you go up there and Jeff puts the light out...what were you thinking?

Christa: I was thinking WOW... I wasn't quite expecting this but at that point in the game you have to expect everything. I kind of expected... maybe it could be me.

Harry: Did you feel that you had done everything you possibly could, going up to that TC, to ensure your welfare.

Christa: I tried to talk to Burton, tried to find someone else to get rid of this time. It's all about just moving one spot ahead. Everyday it's just one spot more, one spot more. My plea with Burton to get rid of Sandra didn't work, get rid of Lil, get rid of Darrah, and here I am *giggles*

Harry: One of the things that surprised me was that at this point in the game, the women didn't decide to get together and get rid of the guys... because from our perspective, the guys... especially since Rupert is gone...have seemed to really be driving to boat. Why didn't the women get together and off these guys?

Christa: Well, the women were pretty indecisive I guess you could say. Lil just kinda went with the flow. Sandra and I were trying to get people to go with us. Darrah just sat there.

Harry: She's a lone wolf.

Christa: Oh she just talks about food all day long. That's about it. No strategy, she doesn't really care about the game as long as she gives a vote to somebody she's fine. Apparently it's working, she's doing fine.

Harry: Big time.

Christa: All I ever heard her talk about was chocolate chip cookies and getting a boob job.

Harry: We'll talk to her about that when we visit with her down the line.

Harry: We have a couple of people who want to ask questions. The first one is Melissa from South Carolina.

Melissa: When Jon swore on his Grandmother did you have any doubt that he might have been lying to you.

Christa: I did think that possibly he could have been lying. You can see at the family reward challenge...Sandra and I were the only two people that were rolling our eyes the whole time. It just seemed a little fake, the whole presentation... but then again it's something that's hard to prove. Just the whole sabotaging with the fish, I can't really prove it.

Harry: Let's talk about that. You come back after Rupert gets kick off, she knocks over the fish accidentally, blames you. The tears pouring down your face. You're trying to plead your innocence... what was that like?

Christa: It was horrible. Everybody was making fun of me and pointing their fingers at me, treating me like I was in grade school. I didn't appreciate it. One of my best friends on the show, Rupert, left. It was really hard, thinking that now I have to re-strategize again. And not knowing who did it. I was trying to figure a way out of it and not be blamed for it.

Harry: Boy she pegged you big time. Here's Paul on the phone from NY. Paul what's your question for Christa.

Paul: Hey Christa, great game. Wish you went further than you did. At TC with JP last night, when he asked you if anybody lied, why didn't you state to everyone that yes you did lie but I did not lie about the fish. And let everyone know that there was still a liar in their midst?

Christa: I had already tried to plead my case at that point. Unfortunately I was the only one that went to put my canteen on the bed, it was pitch black. Everybody was convinced that I did it. They thought this is the perfect thing, Rupert is gone, I was really mad about him leaving. What else to do, have revenge, throw out the fish. Everybody was convinced that I did it. I was almost convinced that I did it.

Harry: We screamed with laughter as Jeff went through and asked, who's lying? And everybody is sitting there just sober as judges. Claiming they are being so pure. Does this game seem to be full of lies, more so than other ones?

Christa: Oh, yeah everybody is trying to move one spot ahead and if they can do that by giving the biggest lies, not a problem, everybody will lie.

Harry: One more quick question from Danny. Danny, give us a question.

Danny: I was wondering why the women, 4 women, 2 men, the men are such liars. Why the women could form an alliance and vote the men out?

Christa: The women just weren't going for it. Especially Lil...she was allied with Burton, they were both outcasts. It was hard to turn the tables on them.

Harry: You're a good player, did you have a good time?

Christa: I had a fabulous time, Harry!

Harry: Christa, thanks for being with us.

The earlier post that was asking that spoilers not be posted, I'm sure it was referring to things like "the rumors board say the final two are X and Y." Since the rumor boards seem to always be right, I'd rather not know that ahead of time.

I know this subject has kinda been beaten to the ground but I just have to add my say that Grog and Liz and DisShopkeeper and others are correct in that the agreement had been totally covered in the past and the agreement was to post freely what happens on that evening's show. We never had a problem with rumors (aka spoilers, or what is said to happen in future shows) prior to this. I can't recall it ever happening before except maybe regarding Matt and Jenna being in the final two last season (but I could have gotten that from another board)

Since this system had worked well with us with the prior series, perhaps for next series we have them clearly stated in the first post of the official thread? and include the new thing about not posting any spoilers gathered from any rumor board or elsewhere (EXcluding, of course, the teasers regularly posted on the CBS website and reprinted here each Thursday prior to showtime). Whaddya guys think about that?

I was one who loved to post DURING the show! I used to run back and forth from the T.V. to the computer two rooms away to see what people wrote and add my two cents. Unfortunately, most this season and part of last seaon, I frequently have another obligation on Thursday nights and need to watch a taped version of the show later and by then my enthusiasm to post has waned. This should NOT be a problem with the All Star Survivior Series and I intend on going back to having no life but Survivor on Thursday nights again.

I have to add that I am very upset with myself. I am doing so bad in the Fantasy League this time around! But I WAS doing well in the RealityPlanet thingie except for the last two weeks I forgot to fill out the questionaire and have been bumped into third place now by dlk228, whoever you are. And who is our #1 over there anyway?.... bzelf - come show yourself and take a bow for being top of our DIS league for so many weeks!

Just wanted to add my two cents too on the spoilers and discussion prior to PST airing of Survivor. For those of us who work on Thursday nights and don't get to see the show I enjoy reading about every last detail. When I get home and ask DH about Survivor, he simply states who was voted off like that was the most important thing that happened. Well, what lead up to that person being voted off? I want to know. I thank everyone here because I get details.

I now watch Survivor and think about the questions that I got right and wrong during the show!

ITA about making the thread guidelines clear in the opening post for the All Star Survivor.

Matt and Jenna in the final 2 WAS posted in the thread here on the DIS. THAT's the kind of stuff I'd rather not know. The rumor boards DO seem to be right all the time. At least that was the case for the last Survivor. And it kind of took some of the fun out of it for me.

And I think I know who is rumored to be in the final 2 for this one, AND who is the "rumored" winner. And like I said, I must have picked it up here......

I was just wondering, if someone had told me that a friend had died, I would have asked about it. You know to show concern and empathy. I thought it was kinda strange that noone (Maybe it was edited out.) asked. It would've been nice to see John squirm over those kind of questions... The snake!

Great idea! Whoever starts the next thread for All Stars needs to put a list of does and don'ts.

I thought the rumors last season (i.e. Matt and Jenna in F2), were just lucky guesses. It wasn't until this season that I realized just how dead on some of these rumors are. I certainly understand some people not wanting to hear them prior to the show.

I think so. DD told me that we have Survivor Thursday and then again Sunday. We never finished the conversation, but she said that Sunday was the last episode!

Super Bowl Sunday is not that far away, though!!!

I also hate it when folks post rumors (not spoilers for the west coasters). It was on this board last year that I learned the rumors of Matt and Jenna and it ruined it for me. It has already been posted here the rumors of the identities of the final three, the final two, and the winner. I'm hoping they're not true, because I really don't want to know ahead of time. I stay away from those other boards for that reason. I guess we'll find out on Sunday.

The All Star Survivor show is being film right now and the first episode will be after the Super Bowl. I have a list of contestants, but since I'm not sure if it's publicized or a spoiler, I can't post it.

Whoever does start the All Star thread (Tuli?) would you plesae post the link here as some of us only follow the CB board for selected threads.
