Was it just me or did James vote for himself at Tribal Counsel???? The shortened up the screen to roll the credits and Jeff's voiceover was on commenting on him being voted off, so I was a little distracted. But it appeared to me that James wrote his own name down....

Pam, James voted for Kim. Jeff voted for James.

No. Jeff voted for James. Didn't you see the shocked look on James' face when his name was read? Jeff can't vote for himself and wouldn't vote for Kim. I wonder if he picked James to send a message to either him or the others.

This Survivor is stacking up much better than previous seasons. Plus Tom is a local from a town just south of me! Of course, I am rooting for him!!

Also - I watched Amazing Race for the first time ever this week, basically because of Rob/Amber. What a great show!!! Is there a community board posting about AZ going on.... What am I crazy? There HAS to be a thread about it here somewhere.

I was pretty distracted with all the going ons at the end of the show and I wondered about that. I did notice that James had a shocked look on his face. I wonder if Jeff thought James wrote his name down last week - when it really was Ibrehem (I don't know how to spell his name!!!)

I also loved the immunity challenge last night. It's nice to see something new after the last few seasons.

Angie is from New Orleans, and I live near there, so I have to root for her. Right now she, Stephanie and Ian are at the top of my list.

I was hoping to see Kim go last night, but I understand Jeff's reasons for wanting to leave. I just hope she doesn't sneak through to the end because they decide they need to vote off a more physical threat.

I have been thinking this for a long time. I'm wondering if they don't bring Wanda and Jonathan back to give them a chance. Anyone else think the same or am I totally off?

I just can't get over the bra and underwear thing. Enough!! I love this show and I love this season but please I don't really want to see Coby in his underwear. My two nephews who are hitting the fun age of 12 and 13 don't even want to see their bras!!!

I didn't think I would like Bobby Jon (that name just gets to me) But I think he is great and could be the Colby Donldson.

Also the short older lady (who started the fight) She is too skinny as it is I don't really want to see what she wil look like after 30 days.

If you watched the title sequence very carefully, they had Jonathan's picture included in the BLUE tribes and Wanda's included in the BROWN tribes.... made me wonder.... Last week, they didn't have the pictures by tribe.

But then, didn't Wanda & Jonathan already appear on the CBS morning show? I thought they didn't allow them to appear if they were brought back....

I wondered about having their pictures like that too. I've never paid attention to that before. I just figured they put Jonathan with the younger group and Wanda with the older.

I wish they would bring them back. That was a crappy way to get booted off Survivor.

I noticed the put Jahnathan and Wanda on, but I think they just put them where they would have wound up, had there been 20 people staying (Willard was the last man picked, so that team would have gotten a girl next, Wanda was the only girl left). But perhaps they get a chance to come back. I believe Lill was on the Early Show after getting the boot, but she ended up getting back in the game and coming in second. We'll just have to see.

Personally, it's too early for a merge, so I'm thinking some manner of swap/switch up thing.

First, I totally agree....Jonathon and Wanda--> crappy way to get "booted" from the show...they deserve a chance. Yes, it's 6 to 9...Koror needs to lose an immunity challenge just to vote someone off....it's getting a little crowded at camp (I think!). I think they are going to do something and get the teams more even again...switch up is in the works--not a merge. Maybe Wanda and Jonathon will come back and just automatically be put at Ulong?? They've lost at least one guy and one girl.... I am definatley curious.....
And, BTW......did you know that oridnary people (like you and me) come up with these challenges and submit them to Survivor?? If the show likes them, they use them. I saw this a few Survivors ago...thought it was neat. So, maybe we could come up with a challenge....

Well, the commercial I saw last night for Thursday's show has me convinced that Wanda and Jonathan are coming back into the game!

It show's Jeff standing on a boat that is heading toward the Island. The voice over says "This boat is carrying something that will change the game" or something to that effect. It then shows the players looking shocked and in disbelief (ok, OK, I know Mark Burnett is the MASTER of editing). My bet is that it is Wanda and Jonathan being introduced inot the game.

As far as being on the Early Show, I do believe all the member's of the Ghost tribe of Pearl Island did their cast-off stint on the Early Show. If they weren't, we would've figure something was up. The only Survivor to not be on the Early Show the day after their vote off was Rupert, and it was because he was filming All-Star.

I hate when they swap tribes- it seems like it ends up rewarding the loser tribemates, and penalizing the stronger tribe. I wish they would just let the weaker tribe dwindle. But then again, I really don't like most of the people on Ulong anyway, so losing them one by one is no great loss!

I, too, think that perhaps the first two who didn't even make it to a team will be back....but only time will tell.

Does anyone else think that the challenges on this Survivor are much more "violent"? I mean the one where they were tackling one another in the water, the coming attractions for this week. I've also noticed that every one of the immunity challeges this time has involved water.

Can't wait for tomorrow though!
