Survivor: Palau...official Thread

I said the same thing last night to DH.

I can't believe they did another brutal challenge. They're getting crazy w/ the challenges this year!

I would love to see Bobby Jon, Tom, Ian, Angie, and Stephenie on a team. They are my favorites.

I was also thinking about the first two being cast off re-entering the game in the near future.

I like the challenges a lot this year - and very interesting rewards.

I thought last night's show was so much fun. I thought the reward of a shelter was great! I was kind of hoping that Koror would be hung over and not do well at the immunity challenge, but no luck. I don't think it's fair to be so down on Ulong. They have won some reward challenges. So, it's not like they're complete losers. Remember Pearl Islands (I think) when one team didn't win any challenges until the "winning" team actually threw an immunity to get rid of someone.

I really hope Steph and Angie don't get picked off next. They seem to be so much stronger than the men in the tribe. I just wish Angie would wear more clothes. That girl doesn't have any self-esteem problems.

If I were James I think I would throw myself to the sharks after losing that Challenge to Coby. Not once...but twice. I could not imagine the abuse he's going to take from his Redneck buddies at home. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I was ROFL :rotfl2: (just my opinion)

Not just your opinion. His comments about Coby made it pretty clear. :sad2:

No reason she should. Looking good and kickin A. Go Angie.

This is the best season of Survivor in a long time. I am really enjoying it.

I was happy for Coby last night because it seems he often gets left out or ignored. Good for him.

And I think Stephenie and Angie both kick butt. And I don't see what the big deal is about Angie's bottoms. Who cares.

It's so funny how the Ulong tribe said at the outset that they don't need a leader ---look wheer that has gotten them. As James was trying to show them how to build a bathroom, all they could do was moan about how he gave directions. duh! If I didn't know diddly about building a bathroom, I would appreciatively listen and obey the directions of my teammate who was a builder.

One thing... James should really wear some pants!

exactly. Just think...her choice of underwear that fatefull day they were dropped off with nothing could have been a thong.

or commando.

I thought the same thing. They volunteered James to be the team leader for that challenge than said he was being bossy. Than I guess somebody else should have stepped up to the plate. He was the only one with building things in his background.

Oh yeah, no kidding! I thought that was funny. They were totally whining about that. And I agree, James needs some pants too.

Early prediction. Based on the numbers and past Survivor shows, I seriously doubt that we will see any of the Ulong tribe in the final four. Last night the girls were worried about the guys picking them off one-by-one. I think their larger concern should be the fact that Koror outnumbers Ulong nearly 2 to 1 and that team loyalties tend to be very strong in Survivor. So Ulong can kiss the million goodbye, regardless of how they mix things up.

but if i remember correctly, did a man (name escapes me) win the last one? and all the men got picked off when the tribes merged (or close to it). i see an advantage to ulong...more of them (koror) to make alliances with and pick off the koror people that are bugging them (koror).....JMHO.....

Yeah, but if Koror has at least one alliance that's 4 strong, they're likely to be the final four. Right now, my money's on Ian and Tom, probably others. If you look at who's left at Ulong--Bobby Jon and Ibrehem have targets on their back by sheer size/strength. Probably Stephenie and Angie, too--they proved tough in the challenges, surely the other team has noticed.

I don't know how much it would help Ulong to mix up the tribes at this point--only if they got, say, 3 new people and stuck together--their people would be in a minority if there was just a shake-up, and they would lose what little chance they have left. It's kind of interesting to see one tribe lose week after week, and I wonder what the producers planned for such a situation--they must have thought about it at some point.

And I really wish Angie would put some pants on! She did have some, when they arrived, I remember she had something. Those undies just don't cut it, and they have to be starting to wear out, please, get something on your hiney! You, too, James, I was dying last night! (Now Bobby Jon, he should maybe strip down a little more ;) )

Chris beat the odds last time and won among a tribe of women...

Not only does Angie need differant underwear but she needs a razor...not liking the bushes under her arms. Got to be a little fragrant. I am rooting for Tom(partial to him since hes from Long Island also).

You know, I would like to see these reality shows cast MORE normal sized women, instead of the big-breasted, tiny waist pixies they like to see win the reward with all the bath soaps. Nobody complains when the other women are walking around half naked.

I don't watch Survivor and say "oh gross, she needs to put more clothes on, because she does not have a body to look like that" They are on a tropical island, they are hot as hell. I'm glad Angie is on the show, hairy pits and all! She is a great competitor, and has the ability to go far in the game. I could care less what she looks like standing there in her underwear. if people are not complaing about, oh, let's say Kim in her underwear, then why compalin about Angie? No wonder Survivor will keep casting the "model-type" girls.

I dont care to see any of them hanging out in their underwear - good bodies or not, I dont like seeing the girls in their bra tops(even though they look like bathing suit tops) or the men in the bvds or anything else to that nature. I dont understand why the survivors dont realize from watching past seasons that they might be dropped with nothing other than what they have on. Just in case I would wear a bathing suit, pants that zipped off into shorts, comfortable shoes, a tshirt and some warm shirt. Lets face it these people know the ins and outs of the show already and I see cant see the producers wouldnt accept that attire..

You might be right.
I read a article where Jeff Probes talked about his opinions on past Survivors and he said bringing back contestants who were voted off was the worst thing they did in any of the Survivors.
However, in this instance they weren't voted off, just not picked so they didn't have their time at tribal council. They could come back and shake things up........agh what's her name's singing!!

I'd like to see the tribe go down to nothing. Usually they are fairly well matched at the merge, and this is the first time the tribes have been so imbalanced. Then the team that is working so well together, will have to go against each other sooner. What fun!

I so agree with you. Koror has beat Ulong fair and square everytime they've had an immunity challenge. It's not like Ulong can't win at all - they've won several reward challenges - but Koror is kicking butt!! No reason they should be penalized by having to merge early to save any members on Ulong. I say that even though 2 of my favorites (Stephenie and Angie) are on Ulong.
