Jimmy Johnson ???? Are you pooping me. WHAT he is doing on there.

Brenda Lowe, 27, Former Cheerleader, Miami, FL - What exactly constitutes a former cheerleader? From College, From a Pro Team? And that's the best she could come up. Doesn't she have a job now?

I don't know :confused3 I also watch Supernatural and it has been moved from Thur to Friday.

Yay. I wish it wasn't moved to Wednesdays, though. :( I loved Survivor Thursdays.

I'm glad they moved it to Wednesdays - I'm going to take a class Thursday nights this fall, so now I won't have to tape it and avoid the boards until I watch it!:goodvibes

On Jimmy Johnson being on there - sorry, but unless you are going to do an ALL survivor cast with those associated with sports, tv or movies, then he has ZERO business being on this show.

JMHO.

Actually, from what I read, he is a big fan of the show and tried to get on two years ago but failed the physical. Good for him for getting himself together enough to pass this time. He isn't on there as a celebrity, just a guy who wants to "survive"!

Thursday is the most lucrative night of television each week. (Sunday has more viewers, but advertisers pay more for Thursday, because many big purchases are made over the weekend, and people go out to the movies more over the weekend.) My guess is that CBS sees an opening for comedies Thursday 8PM - that their powerhouse The Big Bang Theory can overwhelm NBC's Community, and that the super-shocking new Shatner comedy (that's going to get all this free PR from the PTC) can beat 30 Rock, and thereby CBS can claim the "Must See TV" crown from NBC, and collect-up the financial rewards of that. They may also figure that these comedies provide a better lead in for CSI than a reality show.

With one older tribe and the other one all younger I worry it will another lopsided season. I hate it when one tribe wins all the time.

The season that it came down to Stephine as the lone member of her tribe, is one of my favorites. That was just a tribe that no matter what they did, they could not beat the other tribe.

And the age/strength mix of both teams looked even, the other tribe just knew who to put where and how to use the best of each members strengths to their full advantage.

I'm so ready for Survivor! I don't care where they are, who they are, or when it's on! I need a fix!

I've always wondered, are you in the business, bicker?? :thumbsup2

I would love to see a Survivor:Siberia, or a Survivor:Northern Canada. :happytv:

To be honest, i really don't think these "divisions" make much of a difference.

Some people will be stronger/smarter/cunning than others regardless of their age/gender/disposition ...

I've never been in the creative/production side of the business, but the broadcast/distribution side of the business intersected with my first career. I've keep very close tabs on the business since then (just in case this early retirement of sorts doesn't pan out financially) and my keeping tabs has spread, from the portions of the business I was involved in, to these other aspects of the business.
