Survivor All Star OFFICIAL THREAD!

If I remember correctly, the next-to-last challenge is usually one based on how well you know the other Survivors. Don't know if they'll do that again this time or not, but that's typically it. The final one has always been an endurance thing.

Didn't someone (Jenna?) say earlier in the game that the alliance was to get to the final 4, then all bets were off and it's every person for themselves? If that's the case, I can see Rupert joining up with Rambuh to vote of Jenna. But at the same time, I can see the opposite happening because they know the last will be an endurance thing, and Rupert has the better chance to win that than Jenna.

Here's hoping Rupert wins immunity the next two times!

I also agree with Tink's and Laura's guess for what the "big surprise" will be.

Tom also said they did not try to get rid of Rob because the jury members hate him so much, that going up against him is a guaranteed win. Of course, that does not explain why they kept Amber, and no one asked that this morning unfortunately.

Well, it has happened before, where the jury has hated the last standing but they give them the million because "They played teh game". If it was between Rob & Amber I bet they would give it to Rob because he actually played the game and Amber just rode his coat tails.
I hate watching the jury give those dirty looks. They are all right where they should be, THEY are the ones that put themselves there.

I completely agree...I was just passing along what Tom thought and why he stuck with Rob.

I also agree with others who say Rob and Amber will be in the F2 and that Rob will win it even though he has made enemies. Unfortunately a lot of jurors will vote for the person who stabbed them in the back, because they feel they did after all play the game the best.
Honestly, after last night, Rob and Amber deserve to be in the Final 2, the others have just not played very smart at all:rolleyes:

I agree too! Go Boston Rob! The only thing that makes him different than Lex is that Rob is still in the game and Lex is still a sore loser!!!! Annmarie

I was just watching Jeff Probst being interviewed on "The View" this morning. Everyone there was trying to get Jeff to reveal the big "secret" that is going to be announced during the final hour of this Sunday's show. They threw out the idea that perhaps the big announcement was going to be about Rob and Amber. He stated catagorically that the announcement is NOT about them, but has something to do with the next Survivor.

Unfortunately, the rest of the interview has been pre-empted by a breaking news story regarding a Senate hearing on Iraqi prisoner abuse.

I'm hoping that the surprise is that the jury can change their vote during the final show (after having watched how Rob spoke about all of them) and that if anyone voted for Rob that they change their vote. Yes I think Rob is playing the game but he is lazy and if he didn't have Amber to vote with him I'm not sure how the show would have gone. I do belive that the others deserve what they have gotten for not breaking Rob and Amber up but I don't want to see Rob win it all.

That would be so fun to watch!

I think the next TC will be a tie and wouldn't it be something if they let the jury break the tie.

Can't wait for sunday night!

There wasn't really anything else after he said that, just some nice remarks about Elizabeth.
I'm thinking it's more money or something. Does anyone know how much the third & fourth place winners get? Remember during the first one, they actually said the amounts.

Maybe, A BIG MAYBE the surprise will be that they can vote after they WATCH the season on TV...Then they will know everyones true colors...Doubtful but definately SHOCKING!!!!

I don't think I would like the jury being able to vote after having watched the show. I think that the jury should not be able to see the show, they should base their vote on who they felt played the best game. If they saw the show, they would be voting on emotions, not on game play. I'm not saying that jurors don't vote with emotions, but I think most do vote for who they feel the best player was.

Now that would be some good TV watching.......:rotfl:

Sorry about posting the "supposed Spoiler" I didn't really mean to upset anyone. :guilty:

However, if you think about it, it actually is only speculation and not really a spoiler. I just thought it interesting given the "date" in the truck last night ;)

I would absolutely hate for it to be true, as that would be terrible for a number of reasons.....(this isn't the debate board so I'll stop there.......:D )

Actually knowing CBS - it'll probably something very minor, since they have a tendency to really play up the previews.

Pure speculation.......maybe the announcement is a Survivor Allstars Part 2???:bored: :rolleyes1

The jury speeches will be great.......did you catch all the    at tribal council. Priceless!

See everyone on Sunday.......infront of the TV :teeth:

That would work for me but only if Rupert was a part of it again. Do you think that Rupert would be willing to become a regular? :hyper:

You are right it was more a speculation, I was commenting on my lack of self control, as I didn't know what you were going to post!

I agree the jury speeches will be really interesting.

WARNING: HUGE SPOILER!!!! DON'T READ IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW! I KNOW THIS WILL UPSET MANY PEOPLE...

BOSTON, Jan. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Who's going to win Survivor: All-Stars,
the CBS series shaping up as the "Super Bowl" of TV's most popular reality
show?
A fan who calls himself "ChillOne" believes he has cracked the
well-guarded secret and unearthed the identity of the two finalists: Amber
Brkich and Rob Mariano. And ChillOne, the alias of Boston resident Bill
Marson, insists he holds the credentials to back up his prediction. He
correctly named the two finalists a month before the season premiere of
Survivor: The Amazon last winter, with a clear hint that Jenna Morasca would
emerge as the eventual champion.
Marson infiltrated the notorious Survivor shroud of secrecy last December,
during his eight-hour "spoiling" operation at the site of Survivor: All-Stars
filming in the Pearl Islands off the coast of Panama. Resort hotels were
blocked and waterway access restricted before, during, and after filming. But
during a layover en route to a two-week holiday vacation near Buenos Aires,
Marson hired a guide to escort him around the islands and met with an
anonymous source with reputed inside information gleaned from members of
Survivor's production crew.
"My source also told me that Jenna Lewis and Rupert Boneham will be the
others to reach the Final 4," said Marson, author of The Spoiler: Revealing
the Secrets of Survivor (iUniverse, Inc.) under his ChillOne alias.
Survivor: All-Stars premieres on CBS Feb. 1, immediately after the Super
Bowl, and will run through early May. Marson's complete story of his Pearl
Islands discoveries is posted on his website, http://www.thechillone.com .
Highlights include:

* Before facing off in challenges, the 18 contestants were separated
from one another and escorted to their rooms by blindfold.

* Ethan Zohn, winner of Survivor: Africa, stumbled early and may be the
first contestant booted.

* Jenna Morasca dropped out early in the series due to concerns over a
sick family member.

* The fifth through seventh-place finishers are Tom Buchanan, Shii Ann
Huang, and Alicia Calaway.

* A bag of condoms found on the island of Mogo Mogo could tip off a
sexual union among tribe members.

Marson, who used similar sleuthing techniques in his trip to The Amazon,
takes pride in his reputation as one of the most successful and most popular
members of the spoiling underworld. A group of Survivor zealots featured by
media including The New York Times, spoilers search for clues or leaks that
point to potential outcomes.
"It's like a game against (Survivor producer) Mark Burnett," said Marson,
who claims he learned covert techniques in a professional capacity. "I raised
the bar with my success in The Amazon."
Marson insists that spoiling actually heightens interest in Survivor.
"With my 'intel' from The Amazon, everyone debated for months whether or
not it would prove right," he said. "With Survivor: All-Stars, we'll all be
watching to see how my information plays out this time, including me."

I know this will upset many people like it upset me. Oh well, at least I have the live reunion to look forward to.

Why are there spoilers being posted on this thread? This is supposed to be a non-spoiler thread. There is another one for spoilers.

I realize that we don't have to scroll down and read the spoiler but that was the way this thread was set up. :(

They really aren't spoilers you know, just someone's speculation. And no more valid than the speculation the rest of us do in here, despite what they may claim. The same people were dead positive the last two survivors in Pearl Island were a young woman and a man. They claimed to have actually seen them on the island from a distance. Since the two finalists were women, they wer obviously dead wrong.

Let's face it....if anyone had actually broken into the system it would be more newsworthy than just a website.

The simple fact that this guy is selling his "spoilers" for 13.95 is a bit of a give away don't you think?

I guess what I meant to say was that this thread was just for our own speculation, ideas and thoughts. It wasn't for this is what I read or heard type of stuff at another source like another web site or newspaper, magazine, etc. That was what the other thread is for.

I actually do consider them spoilers though some others may not.

I actually have ChillOne's book about spoiling another season of Survivor. I've even exchanged a few emails with him. The book he was selling was for a different season of survivor not this one. I wouldn't take this season's "spoilers" to the bank just yet. He said that Ethan would be the first voted off and he was not even close on that. Once again it is speculation nor real spoilers. It makes for interesting reading but is not fact. A big portion of his facts from this season have been way off.
