I'm thinking he thinks if he gets far enough the bonds aspect might help him. He hasn't done nothing, I count Emily as someone in the limelight that hasn't done anything because all she's done is just tattle and be in nearly everyone's group rather than actual moves.See, this is what I don't get about Rizzo the Rat: he thinks he's such an awesome player, best ever, just give him the crown. But, all he's doing is hiding behind Cirie with an idol that was given to him. You look at Joe, Stephanie, Ozzie, Johnathon--love 'em or hate 'em, they're putting themselves out there, working hard to earn rice for their tribe. Cirie is a great social player. What, exactly, is Rizzo bringing to the table? He can't even make fire! Even if he makes it to the end, who would vote for him over someone who worked for it? He's only there to be a goat, at this point.
That was one of my fav parts so far this season, Jeff has been in there out in the sun just like the players but talking smack from the side is different than doing it with them. I loved that he was humble enough these days to pay homage to all the years of the challenges and attempt to do it himself. The flashback to him in the earlier days it's clear the years on the show have shifted his viewing of the players in a positive way.I loved seeing Jeff participate in a challenge. It was fun to see how hard it was for him to play.
If he completed the puzzle, was voting then and there without talking to his alliance or knowing how to best strategically cast his vote really a reward?

Like Cirie, Rizzo is also a great social player.See, this is what I don't get about Rizzo the Rat: he thinks he's such an awesome player, best ever, just give him the crown. I really did like the way Jonathan got Dee out a couple of weeks back. The way he came at her surprised me. But I don’t like the alliance of Jonathan, Stephanie and Joe. They just seem mean and spiteful together. They seemed so butt hurt over the way Devens used that fake idol at tribal. They’re just mad that he foiled their plans to possibly take him out.Was sad to see Christian go. Just for his entertainment value made watching him each week interesting. Especially his logical insights at tribals.
At first I was rooting for Jonathan but he seems all over the place lately and could wind up blowing his game. Rizzo has really grown on me this season and his game play, as mentioned by others above, is always adapting. It seems like him, and Cirie, are playing chess and the others are playing checkers. If he does pull this win off he would go down as one of the al time greats. I'm still surprised that they didn't get rid of him early, like Savanah, because none of them knew his game.
There was a rule that there were to be no hidden idols?Rules change.
At one time, there were no hidden idols.
There was a rule that there were to be no hidden idols?
Still cheering for a Cerie blindside..
That is different than voting for oneself, which is an actual Survivor rule. Otherwise, all of the quitters would have done it. There was no fire making at final 4, and that got added; it wasn't an existing rule that changed. No at one time there were no hidden idols. The game changes, people need to deal with it.
Exactly the point I was making lolThat is different than voting for oneself, which is an actual Survivor rule. Otherwise, all of the quitters would have done it. There was no fire making at final 4, and that got added; it wasn't an existing rule that changed.
It also took away Christian's ability to outwit the other players when he was required to read his outcome in front of everyone. He wasn't given an opportunity to create a narrative that might have worked for him. Even though I like Christian, I would be saying this in defense of anyone who ended up with the same situation.
