SURPRISE!.......You forgot the WHAT!? A November 1st-11th 2012 TR* BIG UPDATE!!2/3

I love the Beach Club look and outside area. It wasn't my favorite spot to stay, mostly do to the buses and how long it felt to get to anywhere, but it's a nice place.

Nice update! The resort looks so pretty and the food looks really really good. Can't blame you for trying some things more than once. How long did it take ya'll to get to the Beach Club? I'm thinking about dinner at Cape May on our Hollywood Studios day.

It's didn't take too long, maybe 20 mins? You could walk it too, but it's just under a mile and in hot water I think I'd be crying!

Love all the Boardwalk/YC/BC area pictures! I miss it there. :(

It was our first time over there, it was nice to see some of the resorts.

It certainly has a great feel to it. Isn't it crazy how the deluxe resorts seem to have the worst buses?

I have to try that place the next time I am at wdw

I totally recommend it!

Just found your trip report and am enjoying it very much. Your family is beautiful. Looking forward to reading more. :)

Small world!

Kadence is so sweet with her posing. Cape may looks great. I ave a ard time adding adds that aren't character meals, yet I'd like to tr it sometime.

Nov 5th, 2012

Up and at’um earlier this morning, we had a 7:30 date with Lilo and Stitch at Ohana’s! This place has become Kadence’s favorite and she just loves Stitch. Luck was with us as a very nice bus driver this morning who agreed to drop us right at the Poly, after he dropped another family at the Contemporary. Have I said how much I appreciate the 6:30 am bus drivers? Well, we do! It always seems more often than not they are more than willing to drop us right at the hotels.

Walking up to the Poly

Kadence needed to play some Island music.

DSC08851.jpg

I don’t know is she’s waving her hands like she just don’t care, or flagging down a taxi.

DSC08857.jpg

Hidden, or not so hidden Mickey.

DSC08859.jpg

The 3 Amigos?

DSC08860.jpg

The CM’s getting ready for the morning; they were signing some song together.

DSC08862.jpg

We were first to be called, and while we declined the PP pictures later at the table, I do wish they would take the same care to get a nice picture with my camera as well. I had it all focused in, and he was twisting the lens and shut my fill in flash down. Oh well.

DSC08863.jpg

We were seated at the same table we are always seated at! I think this make 3 times in a row. I did not take a picture of the food, I have so many from our other times, I decided to skip it, and now I wish I hadn’t.

We had gotten a good start on our food when Lilo came out first.

This is Kadence’s favorite meal, and she LOVES Stitch! She jumped right up when he came. There was some nice interaction between them.

Next was Mickey! He took her book and was happy to see a personalized page, he looked at it, and at her and was “saying thank you”.

DSC08875.jpg

DSC08876.jpg

And just ask quickly, Pluto came out, and wrapped her in a big hug with a paw on her face!

DSC08879.jpg

She loves the way he signs

DSC08880.jpg

And last nice shot and off he went.

DSC08881.jpg

I think that was the fastest the characters had ever come out, but they each did spend some time and a nice moment with her so no complaints here!

Soon we finished up our food, which was great as usual. Kadence wanted to take a picture with the surfboard she saw down stairs in the lobby, down we went. Man did I not change my settings on my camera!

DSC08884.jpg

I snapped a quick shot of the Island Mickey,

DSC08886.jpg

And back up stairs we went to catch the Monorail to our Park of the day…. Epcot!
Well, the monorail was having some issues, and we were stuck just past Poly for about 20 mins, then again once we had switched monorails to head towards Epcot. It put us about 35 mins behind Rope Drop

As Kadence calls it, the big Golf Ball.

DSC08888.jpg

So we are 30 mins into park opening and I knew we’d have to hit up Soarin first, since Test Track was down, and hopefully get a FP for later. And then the Pixie Dust fairy hit! A man at the FP machine asked me if I wanted 4 FP for 9:40-10:40? Oh YEAH I did! And since John doesn’t like Soarin…. I know what the heck, right? I took 2 and told John to pay it forward and find someone to take the other 2.

Kadence and I only had to wait like 2 mins for 9:40 to hit, and away to fly over the Orange Groves we went!
We got front row which is always to best, no swinging feet, and enjoyed our flight.

Then it was decided that we had to go find Nemo, with a picture or two along the way of course.

DSC08889.jpg

DSC08890.jpg

Nemo was found, Crush was like Totally cool, Duuuuuuudde.

Now it was learning time! As part of her makeup homework, Kadence was to keep a daily journal and write about some things she’d learned in the different parks. She wanted to write about the manatees. I took some pictures around the enclosure for her,

DSC08895.jpg

DSC08897.jpg

She watched them eat some lettuce.

DSC08896.jpg

She learned how they came to be in the rehab program.

DSC08898.jpg

John enjoys aquariums so we just wandered around checking out the sea turtles

DSC08900.jpg

We found many, many Nemos!

DSC08904.jpg

DSC08908.jpg

Some Seahorses,

DSC08909.jpg

DSC08913.jpg

We also watched some divers in the tanks, but I never got any decent pictures because of the crowd in front of the glass.

It was after 11, so we moseyed on toward the World Showcase.

Canada was first, and I think I got some pretty pictures.

Of course we had to start a Perry the Platypus in the Kidcot Stop.

More exploring was done,

Yes, I’d like some Maple Syrup, Do you deliver?

DSC08927.jpg

Let’s go check out the shop!

DSC08928.jpg

Everything you need for a trek through the great white north!

DSC08929.jpg

Soap to keep you smelling like…………….. butt?????

DSC08930.jpg

No Beavers were harmed in the making of this balm!

DSC08931.jpg

Of course, I had to bring home some lip balm and an authentic paddle for my daughter Sam, because her pet Moose really needed a Tongue depressor!

Fun updates! Did Sam like her gifts? :rotfl:

Ughh that monorail. We've had terrible luck with on the last few trips. Very frustrating.

Love that breakfast! We're doing it again this time too. :goodvibes

Aww, what a fun update! It starts off with a fun visit with Stitch and his pals, then you get free Fastpasses from another guest and end up buying Beaver Butt lipbalm. Nothing could be greater!

Thanks! Sam did, she was putting pictures of them on her facebook page telling people I got her butt balm!:lmao:

We were frustrated, mostly because I knew I had prepared to make rope drop.

So are we again!:thumbsup2

It was a great day, with more to come! But the Beaver Butt balm is like the cherry on top!:rotfl2:

Oh my goodness! The Canada shop looks like tons of fun!! Another must do added to my list! Thanks!!

I missed updates. Luvin all the pics. I love O'Hana mainly for Stitch :goodvibes

Getting caught up on your last couple of updates. Cape May dinner looks pretty good, that just might make my list for our next trip. The pic of John and Kadence walking away from you toward the YC/BC lighthouse is a really nice shot.

My BIL and SIL went to the Ohana breakfast on their Feb trip, they enjoyed it and got some great character interaction for their two little guys. I'm not crazy about Stitch but he is a cute in person character. Love the pics with Pluto. :lovestruc

I Love that garden in Canada! I got pics of it the last 2 times I was there. Funny thing is, I'm pretty sure it's been there all along but I never even noticed it before my 2010 trip, and as you can see by my sig, I have been down Lots of times. LOL Funny how you see something new every trip.

haha, those lip balms are awesome. I'm going to have to go into that gift shop next time. So...what do they actually smell like? :rotfl:

I got behind, but all caught up now! :woohoo: Your DHS day looked like fun, I just love Sci-Fi, and a visit to the Epcot resort area is always great!

'Ohana's breakfast always looks so fun! It's so rare to find Lilo anymore!
