Thank you everyone. My Grandfather was a most honored and special person in my life. My Grandma is eagerly looking forward to this, and I think it will be a most special memory for us all.
I hope you all didnt mind being left in DTD for a while. Time to finish the day so I can actually get to the first true full park day!

John and Kadence wanted the check out all the Lego scenes, so off we went.

II wonder who put these all together, and how long it took them. Do they ever fall apart? The weathers got the play some havoc on them.

This was an interesting Christmas tree.

I do have a small problem, here in WI; Christmas is cold, full of snow. On this day, it was 80 with a beautiful blue sky. I dont think I could really have that Christmas feel in Florida. I need snow!

(*edited as I wrote this over 2 months ago&&&. I think Im done with the snow now. Easters next week and Id rather not put a snowsuit over Kadences cute Easter dress.)

So, on to Mission #2
I had read about the Phinneas and Ferb experience in DTD. It ran only for a short while, maybe 2 months? Kadence is a fan, and I knew shed love to do it. It started at 2pm every day, and I had heard the line gets long, so by 1pm we were heading towards where it was set up, just on the other side of Bongos.

Here it is!

Here she is! See how the outfit fits into the theme! Maybe not so much the cat&.LOL

I guess being there 50 minutes early paid off! First in line!!

We didnt much, chilled in the sliver of shade we found, drank some water, and watched them get the screen ready for the day.
Soon, it was time. They didnt ask any questions, just told her to stand in a certain spot and told her to listen to the words Dr Dofenshcmirts was saying, she could act out anything she wanted, but she was too interested in just watching herself on screen I guess.

Then the good DR. used his freezeinator and froze them in a block of ice.

They took a picture of the screen, which they gave you a card for you to go to a site and download your picture.

It was over in just a few minutes and then Kadence being cute and all conned her Daddy into another new friend. Agent P.

Daddy wanted something to, a new House of Blues hat. So Kadence and I found a bench and waited
And we were getting so hungry, and we had planned on Earl of Sandwich, but I thought what a long walk to get food. Why don’t we try Bongos! I looked up the menu on my phone and the walk up window menu looked good. John came out with a new hat and 2 new shirts he found on sale! He’s learned much from this bargain shopper!

He agreed to try Bongos, and we found a table in the shade. The day was getting a bit warm for us, so shade was a wonderful thing.

Kadence decided the bongos looked fun, and she did a great imitation of someone who can’t play the bongos. LOL

John and I both got the Cuban sandwich, fries and water, it was very good! I would defiantly come back and eat there again.

Kadence got some chicken nuggets and ff w/ water. It was good she said. I apparently did not take a photo, but they were the regular Disney chicken nugget.

We had full bellies, and it was warm, so instead of walking all the way back , we thought a boat ride would be nice, and also give us that little bit of POR we had been missing.

But first a stop by the mirror.

We picked up some candy for some friends back home, Kadence picked out some boxes of cookies to treat her class when we got back home, and we each picked out a treat to bring back to the room.

I was again negligent in taking pictures of said treats, but I had a dipped pretzel, John got a large peanut butter cookie, and Kadence got a brownie.
On the way back to the bus stops, I did manage to take some pictures of the windows with Christmas décor!

Okay, back when we were going to DTD, I commented how it was nice the bus was at AoA, and I hoped wed be lucky on the return trip&. I should have played the lotto, the bus was there! YAY!

It was just about 4 when we got back to AoA. Lets take a different way back to the room.

Good thing we have a sign, its a long way back to the LM area!

Yeah, it took us longer this way. Not to be repeated!

Finally back to the room, Kadence asked if we could change the Window decorations. I was all for that so we took down Halloween and put up Christmas!

Just a couple window clings, and light up Mickey Head, and cute wooden Mickey & Minnie Merry Christmas sign.

And one more pose for the day.

After that we watched a bit of TV, shared a couple sub sandwiches we picked up in the dining hall and then Kadence want to go see the Movie of the Night, The Muppets! We dragged our sweatshirts along just in case, (didnt need them) and filled our mugs and enjoyed the show.
Here is a picture I took of the movie. LOL, good one huh?

After the movie we just went back to the room, got into our jammies, and off the sleep.

Sorry to hear about your loss. Glad to have you back. Love that Christmas Tree. We went first week of December and missed it. Wish I'd known about the Phineas and Ferb experience too. We went way to commando and didn't smell the roses enough! Thanks to your TR I can see everything we missed!!

Tell me, pretty please, what is on that cuban sandwich? I've seen it on a couple of different menus and never knew what it was exactly.

I've heard people talk about the long long walk to the Little Mermaid rooms but never a picture perspective of the walk. Yeah, lots and lots of green and a long distance.

I find it hilarious that the one picture that you took of the Muppet movie was of them sitting on the toilets.

Fun day at DTD. Now you knew something I didn't. Claire and I saw signs for Phineas and Ferb, but we were under the impression that it wasn't running yet, nor did we know where it was gonna happen. I was mostly going on the info from Claire she had seen on TV.

You have 2 pictures with broken links. They are missing the [ part. If yopu go in and add that, they should be fine.
I hate the new photobucket as well. I have switched to Flickr for now. I do have a lot of pictures from later in our trip uploaded to photobucket already though, so I wonder how this will play out when it comes time to post them. I don't know if it still does the bandwidth thing or just storage. I am not renewing my pro account at this time though.

Glad to see you back and posting. I will have to get Claire over to sit down and read it all together.

Thanks you I think the P&F experience was done at the end of Nov, so you would have missed it anyway. This was the first trip we didn;t go total commando!

The Cuban Sandwich is ham, roast pork, swiss cheese, mustard and pickles on a bun. Then it's toasted in a sandwich press. So good.

The walk to the LM is a long one, and the green space is mocking you.

I had just found out about it a few weeks before we got there. I really didn't even understand what it was till she did it.

I fixed them, thanks! I hate how PB messed with all my photos. My photos are resized now. I redid them all again and replaced them link by link. I'm scared to upload in large groups now because I don;t want to spend hours refixing!

Thanks, I'm feeling happy to be going back over these pictures. I realized this week that I have to start giving thought to Nov, I calculated my ADR date and it's May 12th. That doesn't seem too far away!!

Well they had to borrow it from another library for her. Not too far into it yet BUT we are now fighting over it to read it. Since Kadence is the same age as my daughter I just wanted to mention it to you.

That picture of Kadence with her face inside the light up Mickey head in your window is so adorable. When we used to stay at the All Star resorts we used to love walking back to our room and seeing all of the window decorations! I remember from one trip, we passed by a room every night of a family that must have REALLY loved drinking Yoo Hoo, and the mousekeeper started a pyramid of all their empty bottles in the window. We loved passing it every day to see how big the pyramid of Yoo Hoo had grown since we last looked!

Kadence is a big P&F fan so it was a neat thing for her to do.
Believe it or not, that shirt is getting too small for her already. She's been growing taller everyday!

I think this would be a great idea!! My daughter went to school and told her teacher (who is in Disney right now ) that she is reading this book and her teacher is reading the first one right now too!! She thinks that is the coolest thing ever!

Thank you I was a perfect day, I wish I had some of that sunshine right now. We just had another snowstorm yesterday. I'm so ready for spring.

Thank you It is kinda fun seeing all that Christmas decor and wear shorts and have 80 degrees outside. It's nice to be alble to take it all in and not worry about freezing.

Kadence is a friend collector. She thinks she needs more and more!

I'm pretty set on getting her the books for Christmas. Just trying to decide if I should get them on the Kindle or get the books themselves.
