Surprise trip to Disney!

I have to keep the secret for 2 more weeks! DD and DS get back from their dad's tomorrow and then go back for Labor Day weekend! We leave for Disney on Sept 2!!!
Last night my DS, 4 on the phone said, "Mommy if I dream about Mickey, will my wish come true?" I said ABSOLUTELY! LOL HEHEHEHE

Have fun planning your surprise trip! We have suprised our children and it was awesome, in fact, DH and I are thinking about not telling the kids about the trip that we booked for next September. DD keeps telling us that she does not want to know when we are going, she loved being suprised so much!!

We surprised the girls with a Disney Cruise last year - DD9 could not believe we were actually going! Your kids will be so excited, and you have so much to look forward to with them!

I think I will wait till I pick them up on Sept 1st, and on the way home- surprise them with, "we're gotta get very early in the morning because we're going on an airplane tomorrow, you're gonna see Grandma and Grandpa and your aunt and uncle, cousins and MICKEY MOUSE!!!!!"

I can't tell them before then, otherwise, if they slip and tell DAMM, he will ruin it for everyone.

We did a surprise trip when the kids were younger, and we were having to go back and forth to the hospital A LOT, because ds was having some medical problems. We finally decided that everyone just needed a break. So, we told the kids that we needed to see another doctor, and loaded them into the car for the trip (we lived about 6 hours from WDW at the time). We arrived at WDW at around 2:00 AM. The surprise was great. DD woke up just as we drove under the WDW arches and made a squeaking sound, we just smiled and put our fingers over our lips, so she wouldn't give away the secret. DS didn't figure it out until the CM at check-in (he was still half asleep) said she had a special message for him from Mickey, and that Mickey was looking forward to seeing him in the morning.

It was one of the best trips ever!

We told DD we are going to Detroit for the labor day weekend. We are going to have Mickey leave her a letter for the morning when we leave. If she knows she will never sleep the night before.

She knows about our November girls only trip and its a good thing since I have screwed up and said Florida so many times. My Dad even told her to have fun in Florida when he dropped her off yesterday, she wrinkled her nose and said "Grandpa, I dont go untill Thanksgiving!" So inspite of our errors she still doesnt know. I have this week to quick pack her up since she is away at horse camp.

I'm surprising my DD8 with a trip this September. It has been so hard to keep it secret.!!! We went this summer for 2 weeks and my husband didn't want to go back so soon. I booked it last September during the bounceback.(I hope they offer it again this year!!!) We are going to pick my daughter up from school, and my husband is going to drop us off at the airport. I'm going to let her figure it out!!! I'm so excited!!!!
