Gosh, I’ve been ignoring this PTR for a while, but once my work and school and all the extracurricular activities started, I’ve just been so busy.

We had a couple celebrations this month; My Grandparents had a small dinner for their 69th anniversary. I spent a lot of time with them; they are so dear to me. I just love their stories. I always feel as if I should be writing them down. They just put their house on the market, as they moved to an assisted living apartment. My Grandpa misses the land and his tractor, which he just sold as well. I have pictures of me as a small child sitting on his lap on the tractor, and once Sammy was old enough I have pictures her with him on the same tractor and Kadence as well. It will be a great photo collage. They’ve asked me to go and take pictures of the place to put in an album, 45 acres of woods/ponds/open field. I’m not ready to see it owned by somebody else.

We’ve also had 3 family birthdays and a wedding. I’m ready for Oct to slow down and well……… November of course!

45 days! AHHHHHH!

I’ve really started to get things together; I have a couple lists of what’s getting packed. I’ve told John he needs to be gone with Kadence longer than 45 mins this time. In Sept, I was barely started when they pulled into the driveway. Good thing I can hear his truck! He will be talking her to a movie this time. I said at least 3 hours will be needed to really get it all done.


I went ahead and got some leggings for Kadence in case of cool days or chilly nights. She can just slip them on and still wear her dresses and skirts. I still need to pick up a plain white long sleeve shirt too, it will match everything if it is chilly. I do have a black Under Armor cold weather gear, long sleeve that she wears for cheer that I’ll bring as well.

I got my MVMCP bow in the mail a while back! A very nice fellow DISer made it Kimberly ( Hardingk) made it, and it will match her shirt I’m having made.
I also found a bow at the dollar store and thought it would match her AK outfit, but it needed something to complete the look, so another nice DISer, Erin (mommyto3princess27) had an extra Minnie head resin and I hot glued it on. Perfect!

One more nice DIS’er, there seems to be a pattern here…, Shannon (shan23877 ) Made Kadence a poofy a skirt to match her I heart Perry shirt. Kadence is thrilled and can’t wait to wear it….for school! LOL I’m afraid to let her before the trip as I don’t want her to snag the tulle.

A while back I sold her 3 princess dress that she had grown out of. She was sad to see them go but I promised we’d replace them, but I couldn’t find some of the same ones we had in her size. To replace all her dresses was too out of my budget, so I thought to just get one dress. I told her we had to stay within a certain price range, and we finally found one for the money we had and it finally arrived. She picked Belle.

Just another one of her poses... I have more but in the interest of time and seeing her butt when she sat down and the hoop hit her in the face.

She loves it and I think it looks beautiful on her. It’s a bit more sparkly than I originally though, but I suppose a house full of glitter is a trade off for a happy girl. I suppose I went a little over-board, but my thinking is she’s getting older. Her princess years are most likely coming to an end in the next few years, and I just wanted to give her this. It has adjustable lace up sides so it should fit well for the next couple years, and she if grows 2 feet, well I guess I find cute shoes to show off.

She knows this is a replacement for her sold dresses, but she also thinks it for next year’s trip. She’s very excited to do BBB and eat in BOG with her cousin, but we will be bringing it in Nov. I am hoping BOG is open and also that we will be able to tour Maurice’s Cottage, but if not maybe I can see if she’ll wear it for MNSSHP. If she wants to wear it to any park or show that’s great too. We’ll see.


Have I said its 45 days!?! Paid off too! Yeah Baby!

Yeah, she's growing up way to fast. She so happy that her bangs are long enough to finally be pulled back into a ponytail.

I'm very proud of you for not letting the cat outta the bag despite having her try on her new outfits. It's amazing that she hasn't figured it out yet. Ahhhh, the innocense of youth!

This has been the easiest secret to keep, only because we can blame all the disney talk on next years trip.
I don't think we'll ever surprise her again after this one, but for now it is so fun.
I have other things I'd love to try on her, but I can't without some questions from her. She's pretty fast on the uptake sometimes.

Belle is my (and my daughter's favorite). I can't tell you how much I love K's dress! I have glitter in the belt on my treadmill because my little princess uses it as her "stage". A little glitter is well worth a happy daughter

OMG! I'm in the thirties now! AHHH, need to get going on everything.

Kadence's clothing schedule has been expanded greatly. A wonderful friend has borrowed us a bunch of custom outfits that are so adorable I can't even believe it. I can't wait to dress her up!

I just thinking about about makes me so happy and excited. I want Kadence to freak out! LOL
