Well its about time I update this thing!

Look what my phone told me this morning!!!!

Im ready, but then again Im not. I still need to get some stuff bought; shoes, incidentals, and just stuff&I think we all know what stuff is right?
I need to iron on a few transfers on to a couple t-shirts for MVMCP.

Here is our schedule

There may be some updates to park hours again since last week, but it really doesnt affect us too much. The only day Im hoping doesnt change is Nov 6th our MK day. I have a CP adr that will get us into the park early. I love an empty main street!
The way we planned this trip is a bit more relaxed than our past ones. Ive not made early adrs after late night, and we have downtime built in. After a couple of our dinner adrs were will be heading back to AoA to relax, or swim.
You notice Kadence will be going to the Wonderland Tea, Im excited to show you the Alice dress my MIL has made for her. Sorry, pic from the phone,

Kadence LOVES it, and has worn it quite a bit around the house already. She wants to wear it for Trick or Treating here. I hope she doesnt get anything on it! Shell be pretty excited to find out its for other reasons as well!
Im also looking forward to the resort day.
A well deserved rest is what coming our way. Weve been busy with everyday life, work, school, and Kadences cheer has over taken us with practices and games to cheer at. We had only Weds, and most Sundays off since August 1st, and yesterday the culmination of all that practice has paid off&&&&

Kadence and her Manawa Cowboy Cheer Team took first place in their division of Cheer/Dance/Stunt, and they took First Place overall in the competition!!! 18 teams competed in 3 divisions, small school, medium school-(our division) and large school.

OMG! I was so amazed at them! Parents arent really allowed to sit in practices,(apparently we can be a distraction) so Ive only ever seen bits from her practicing at home. We were invited on Friday night to come by practice, and watch their performance. I was blown away! It looked like something youd see on TV.

During the competition, none of our girls (the flyers) fell, everyone hit their marks and it was so awesome!

I wasnt able to record the performance as I was too busy screaming my fool head off and responding to the Cheers as we were instructed to. I was ringing my cowbell, and taking pictures as well. I will share a few shots with you. We ordered the DVD they are putting together, I cant wait to see it again!

The Bows are bigger than their heads! Not something I would have picked, but they were not the biggest bows of the day!

It was a long day, we started our day at 7:00am for hair dos and nails, then we all caravanned to the host school an hour away. The girls started warming up by 10 and then we had to wait until after 1:30 for their time to perform. The results were announced at 3:30 and we hit the road home.

I drove really fast and got home at 4:20, loaded all of my pictures into my computer, edited a few to add to the slideshow John was going to do that night at the banquet that was starting at 5pm!
After dinner was served, Awards were handed out; Kadence got her M with a cheer pin and a pin for academic achievement! Can I get any more proud!?!

John was the Dj for the night entertainment, so he used his 90inch video screen to do the slideshow. I had taken pictures of all the PeeWee football teams during the games this year (what else is there to do while the kiddo cheers for 4-5 hours for all 3 teams)and the Cheer team, and it was a MASSIVE hit with everyone. I got some requests for a copy of the slide show, but I need to figure out how to put over 400 pictures on a disk.

So now I will start focusing on getting everything together, so when John takes Kadence away for the day, I can pack and make sure we are totally ready.

By the end of this week I will have an idea of weather as well be into the 10 forecast frame. Id rather not pack long underwear if I dont have to! LOL

I have to honest, I went into the day with a attitude of what a long day. It turned into one of the most awesome!

I think starting next week, I will enter panic mode. It's the downside of a surprise. I can't set things out, put stuff in the suitcases, and talk to myself out loud with giving it all up!
