So sorry that i missed the last update! We loved 1900 breakfast (I'm 2 updates away from it)! Sounds like a fun Epcot day, I'd go watch bad '80s bands with John. At least for Come sail away...

Bummer about the princess dresses. I know I haven't make the skirt yet (can we push my start date back a few weeks?), but let me know how you're doing with the new dress search. I've made them all for Maddie (Belle and Cindy twice), they wouldn't be as fancy as the park ones, but they passed Maddie's scrutiny.

While Bryan was shooting it with the BB gun, I was of course googling "how to kill a possum". Would you believe that the first website I came across suggested that we "enjoy watching nature at work in your own backyard!" ??? No Thank You!!!

Oh my........ I'm so sorry. You couldn't have PAID me to be out in that heat any more. I feel for you. I hope they listened when you said you were done.

Nobody ever seems to "hear" me when I say I just don't do heat. It's a running thing in my life. You'd think they'd "hear" you after a hearing you say it a few hundred times.

It looks like a very pretty area though..... someplace I'd like to visit in ....... say........... March........ or October............

Thanks. I wasn't listened to in this case, and now I think they may have reason to not want to listen to me for a while. It's been a trying week, and now I'm just glad it over.

We got a 2 day break right now, but the heats on it way back for the weekend

I'm excited to see how Maddie enjoyed 1900 PF breakfast! I've seen others experiences and it looks so fun.
John is a total 80's guy, but Kadence won't want to stand there like he will. He'd stay for all 3 performances and not even blink an eye!

No worry on the skirt front, when you are ready, we'll talk.
My dress search is conditional right now. I've decided to see if we can get an ADR for BOG. If we do, I'll do it, if not, I'll wait for next years trip as we'll be doing BBB and she can pick who she wants to dress as.

LOL, we had a possum in our chicken coup when we were kids and it was playing dead, until my Dad poked him with a shovel! It hissed and we ran!, He did shoot it, but I think they are sooooo ugly!

I hate that it rained for the majority of your camping trip. That sucks! We absolutely love camping but refuse to go during the Summer 'cause it's so hot. Did ya'll have tents or campers?

It's funny, WI is under a burn ban because of drought conditions. Less than 2 inches of rain has fallen in like 40 days, I go and get monsooned out!

We had tents, I stayed in with one of sisters. Thank God for DVD players and hand held video games or the kids would have driven me nuts! Kadence was so happy to have shared her Tangled movie with her younger cousins.

I'd take the trail again, in the fall.

She was telling them how she met Rapunzel and Flynn, and she got to dance with him. She could be a Disney trip sales women the way she was describing WDW to them.

Living in an area that is flat as a pancake I just love your pics. The scenery is great. We have a Devils lake not to far from us too...in Michigan.
I have a friend from my parenting forum who lives in Minnesota and she goes camping there and Wisconsin all the time. She leaves her DH at home and goes with her two kids. I think one if about 5 now, and the other just turned one and she has been doing it even when she was pregnant and the baby was new...PURE crazy!

We camped at Devils Lake State Park in Baraboo,WI. Kadence and I walked the Tumbled Rocks Trail. The whole area is bluffs and huge boulders that chunked off and fell down the Bluffs. I guess it's part of the Ice Age Trail.

She was hot and asked to be carried. I said no. She then ran over to the rocks and jumped from rock to rock. She's a funny one alright...

And the kiddos! Missing a 6 year old, he was off sleeping.

On the Disney front, I received her two outfits in the mail today! I can't wait to open them up and get a good look at them! Maybe tomorrow when John takes Kadence to her swimming lesson.

Sorry I havent posted in awhile! We just got back from our vacation to Wisconsin! We have family in Mequon, so we stayed there for 5 days and hit up the new Dinosaur Exhibit at the Milwaukee Zoo, the New Lego Store at the mall, and of course we had to go to Dave and Buster's, since we don't have those down in Illinois, and my son thinks they are amazing! Haha!

Day 4, Sunday Nov 4th,

We should be well rested by now and up and at’em bright and early. I think breakfast in the food court at AoA and then on to rope drop at Hollywood Studios.

We love the rush to Toy Story Mania! After that, whatever the family wants to. TOT or RnR isn’t a factor for Kadence yet, and for that I’m thankful. That means I don’t have to take my motion sickness pills this day! YAY

We have a 12:30 lunch ADR at Sci Fi, which will make Kadence’s day. She loved it last time and we enjoyed the food.

I think we’ll try Pizza Planet for supper, if not in the mood for pizza, ABC commissary.

Then more of whatever we want, then I want to catch Fantasmic. I’m not doing an ADR for seating, but I’ve decided that if we can catch a seat great, if not I have another DHS park day to give it a shot. This park is recommended for this day by Touring Plans and wdw easy, so I think this is our best shot for it.
Closing down the park will be our goal and back to AoA for sleep for our next early Morning!

We will probably see you a few times this day! I just made all our reservations and we're also doing an early morning at DHS with Sci Fi for lunch at 12:30! Haha! That is my son's favorite at DHS! He loves the weird clips and sitting in cars! Also doing dinner at Pizza Planet! Another one of his Faves! We'll be skipping Fantasmic though! He's not a fan of fireworks, and he thinks the show is Scary! haha!

Also wanted to add that I agree with your hubby about the breakfast... as long as I get Mickey Waffles, I don't care where I eat! haha!

Crazy! My sister has 2 little ones 2yrs and 13 months, and they cried almost the whole time! The baby was teething, and wanted to be held constantly, and the 2 yr old wanted to wander and got mad when he was corralled for his own safety! Then while it rained they were stuck in their tent not happy!

We seen that exhibit a few years back when Sam was little, it was pretty neat to see them move and roar. Kinda like T-Rex!
I wanted to hit the Milwaukee Zoo this year but, it just didn't happen.

Kadence loves Sci Fi too, she thinks it's just so neat to sit in the cars. I want to try Pizza Planet, but we'll see were we are at that point.
Fantasmic is a maybe too.

Camping isn't me and I do/did hate it. I only did it for my sisters and it will never be an option again.

Today is our 100 day mark! Double Digit dance coming up tomorrow!​

On to day 9! Nov 9th, a HUGE day!

First off, it’ll my birthday! 39 to be exact, and what better place to be than MAGIC KINGDOM!

No early ADR’s today, I just want to take it easy breezy today. I want to catch the Welcome show, do a few important things and I think breakfast at Main Street Bakery sounds yummy (we’ve never eaten there) and just enjoy the day.

In the afternoon, Kadence will be attending the Wonderland Tea party at the Grand Floridian as well. Her Alice dress will be getting a bunch of use this trip! Jen’s DD will be attending this Tea as well and I think it will be a fun time for both!

This will be our rest time for the afternoon, as this is also our MVMCP night! YAY! I’m so excited to be a part of this party. I can’t wait to see the Castle all lit up in lights, the Christmas parade, the SNOW on Main St!

I have given too much thought to Dinner, I don’t want to waste any party time eating, so quick service will most likely be it, unless I can get an ADR at BOG for 4:30-5pm. If we need to be in line at 6ish for any characters, I don’t want to be stuck waiting for my meal.

We’ll be doing mostly characters, and the dance parties. Holiday Wishes, the 2nd parade is our plan. We’ll drag ourselves back to AoA when it’s over, and be happy to sleep in the next day!

Anyone that’s attended MVMCP before, when does it snow? That is a must for me to see! Also if you have any tips, please share!

Sounds like an awesome birthday! It snows off and on all night. I really wanted to spend my birthday in the MK next year, but with my middle kid graduating 2 weeks later, I guess that's off. I'm choosing just not to have a birthday instead. Which may be better......
