I KNOW! I wouldn't expect a 16 yr boy to "love it" but I also don't see why younger boys wouldn't like it. It's not big princess pictures, it's Eric, Ariel, Sebastion and Flounder!.

Some people have to have something to complain about! I wish the had Cars standard rooms! Kadence would love that!

Just wanted to say Hi and join in the conversation! We'll be going Nov 1-7th and staying at AOA. We have a bigger trip planned for June 2013, but I had some vacation for Nov and I got a free dining plan pin, so I figured I couldn't NOT go! Haha!

My son is 6 and has spent the last 4 Halloweens at Disney World, so I can't break tradition now! However, now that he's older and in school, he likes the school party and trick or treating at home as well, so we're going to go down on the 1st and still hit MNSSHP on the 2nd! Best of both worlds for him!

We will also be in a Little Mermaid Room! My son will be 7 and he's ok with a "Flounder room" Haha! We don't need a suite, so he's ok with LM knowing he can still swim in the Nemo pool and play in the other areas!

Maybe we'll run into each other down there!

Ok, this cracks me up, because I was totally THAT MOM that got my son to ride BTMR the first time by telling him it was "just a train ride!" Haha! He loved it of course! I'm not sure about EE though! That may be pushing it! He does want to try Dinosaur this time though!

So I don't know how I just found this but our plans are so alike. We may even be neighbors at AofA. We check in Nov 1 and leave Nov 11. We are also doing both MNSSHP and MVMCP.
I don't have my schedule near me at the moment but I know we also plan on HS on the 4th. We will have to compare our other park days to see how much we may run into each other.

We'll also be at DHS on the 4th and EPCOT on the 5th! Maybe we'll all run into each other!! Wish we could stay long enough to go to MVMCP on the 9th, but I have to be back to work on the 9th!

Look what I found! I have contacted the person to make these for Kadence, and without her knowing, Kadence even picked them out! We were looking at sets and she picked these as well as some others as ones she'd wear "next year". I am so laughing at her!

I know I have a Chip & Dale shirt already, but it's kind big and I think it will be better saved for next year.

LOVE all the outfits! I buy a lot of shirts for my son and I off of etsy and people on fb! I LOVE Magical Memories by Jessica and David Taylor Designs on Facebook! Tatiana Coker's girls sets are amazing too! I'm a fan of hers on FB!

That is going to be crazy seeing Halloween decorations one day and then Christmas the next. Should make for some great pictures!

I agree! We've always gone like Oct 20-Nov 1st before, so we've never seen Christmas decorations up before! Should be exciting!

Our plans for MNSSHP is to stay away from the villians,as Kadence still thinks that was a bit too scary, and more characters, trick or treating, and dance party which was her favorite part.

We'll be doing the same! He's not a fan of the villans or the fireworks, but LOVES the parade,trick or treating, and dance parties!

I wish I knew how the weather’s gonna be, as I’ve seen a couple halter type dresses that I think are so cute.

We usually go the last week of October and it's always been HOT! Always wore short sleeves and shorts! I think she would be fine!

I thought since we will be leaving at 9am to go to the airport, that we should send her to school that day. Treat it like no special, then go and get her from school and let her have it! Maybe have a sign for when she gets called to the office!

I'm thinking of doing the same if I can get a late morning/early afternoon flight! He has an 'I'm going to Disney World" shirt that I had made last trip. Thought it would be fun to just show up with it at school and tell him he needs to put it on and see his reaction!

As you know. it's part of my last name...from my first marriage. Poor Michael has had to suffer the people pronouncing it his whole life. It's German...and they make it difficult I guess. I have only had a handful of people actually say it right the first time. When I bought my first computer...they asked me at the store for a username because they were setting me up with internet through MSN too (some kind of deal with it then) And I was on the spot...and just came up with that (I knew nothing about computers for the most part then)...and it just stuck and I use it a lot now.

Free Dining is a GREAT reason for a trip! Last year was our first MNSSHP experience and I can't wait to do it again!
I think AoA will be a huge hit for Boys & Girls. LM isn't actually all princessy, and who doesn't love Flounder?

I'm sure by the time us Nov DIS'ers are at AoA, we'll all be waving HI to each other every morning!

Nov 8th, the 8th day of our trip.

And we have an 8:00am ( I did not do that on purpose!) ADR, in the Grand Floridian at 1900 Park Fare. Kadence has seen this breakfast in a couple TR’s in the past, and thinks it would be fun to meet with Alice, The Mad Hatter & Mary Poppins (who she hasn’t seen since 2009)

I think she’ll be super happy for this one, and really anywhere you can get Mickey Waffles is OK with John. Her Alice costume will be worn, so I think she’ll enjoy the interaction with Alice.

After that, we climb back on the monorail and head off the Epcot. This is our 2nd Epcot day, and while I do hope to ride Soarin, and hopefully Test Track (although, rumors keep pushing opening date back into Dec).Our main focus will be the World Showcase.
I know Kadence will want to be able to do the new Agent P World Showcase Adventure, and that may make the WS more interesting for her.

I want this to be more of a leisurely stroll, instead of a fly by. We’ll use some snack credits at the French Bakery (must have yummy fruit tart!) or in Germany at Karrmell Kuche….. or both!

I don’t want eat a meal as I’m looking forward to our 4pm ADR at Garden Grill. We had one of the best meals ever there last year. The salad was so fresh and full with toppings. The Fish was great (John hogged it!) the beef was tender, and the turkey w/fixings felt like a Thanksgiving dinner!
Kadence’s meal came with sweet potato fries, which she doesn’t like, but that was fine because I do and I just gave her some of our veggies.
The desert was a warm apple crisp w/ vanilla ice cream that was soooo good! We rolled out of there then, and I fully expect to do the same this time!

If our tour of the WS needs to be completed, we do that then. John is excited that another concert will be taking place and this time it’s Dennis DeYoung, lead singer of the band Styx. Kadence and I may leave him to enjoy Mr.Roboto, Come Sail Away, and Renegade, and we’ll check out some shops or rides.

Illuminations is a maybe, if Kadence wants to go back and swim we will, (I’m betting we will!). I also know somewhere in this day I may run into Jen again (I promise to speak clear English and not crowd you!! ) and will meet another DIS’er Hardingk (Kimberly) She has made a cute bow for Kadence for MVMCP, and I’ll post a pic once I get it!


It was a sad day for Kadence the other day, she pulled out her princess dresses and they are all getting too tight to wear. She got kind mad, because she thought she was going to be able to wear them next year. So I told her we’ll try to sell them and then will get her a new dress for next year. I’ve been looking and can just not find what I want in a size 10. If I sell all 3, my budget goes up a little, but so far my pocketbook isn’t agreeing with my eyes.
I am mostly looking for a Belle dress for this trip, but she has said she “needs” Belle, Cinderella and Aurora. Next year, we’ll get her, her dress of choice for BBB.
