Fantasmic Thread!

I know that was the case for a bit there, but Cafe Orleans dining packages have been available for reservations for I think about the last year? I can still see reservations available for CO dining packages through April 11th, but then after that date they are gone (but CO still has regular dining reservations open past that so it's not the restaurant undergoing a refurb or anything like that).
I have a reservation for Cafe Orleans Fantasmic dining package for April 24th. Perhaps they are all sold out?

I have RDZ reservations for next week, but I can't decide if I want to invest the time to see F! in it's current state, on a short 2-day trip. Ack! What to do...what to do? I have up until 2 hours before my reservation to cancel, correct?

Premium Dining Package at River Belle Terrace: Sit down to some down-home cooking while enjoying riverfront views at this iconic Disneyland Park eatery.
Good to know, I’ll check it out!!

I think it depends how many rides you’re hoping to get in. If you’re trying to ride everything (bigger, more popular), then I would skip F!

Are there any dining packages where you actually sit and eat while you watch the show?
The RBT Premium allows you to sit on the patio to watch the show. But you don't actually eat while you watch the show, in fact the clear all the dishes about 15 - 20 minutes before the beginning of the show.

I can understand why they would do that so they can start cleaning up for the night, but it would sure be nice if Disney's actions matched their words. Their own description of the premium package mentions eating "while enjoying" Fantasmic, not "before enjoying" the show.

Definitely good to know!!

Agreed, it sounded like you sit down to eat just before the show starts.
Probably just as well, as long as you can just stay seated, but it does mean a full meals worth of time, and then the show so a little bit longer than I was thinking.

The dining package description actually says, “With a premium dining package, delight in a delicious meal then stay to enjoy the evening’s first performance of Fantasmic! right from your table on the outdoor terrace.”

On Disney’s website it says you’re seated at 7:15pm, so quite a bit of time before the show starts.

We have the same choice to make, and I'm leaning towards just trying to grab a spot for the 10:30 show if we feel like it but not wasting time and money on table service. I'd love confirmation on the 2 hour cancellation window though because I thought it was the day before.

It actually says both. You and I cited the same page, just different sentences. In the actual RBT Premium package description just below what you quoted, it says "while enjoying."

The bottom line is that they've posted conflicting specifics. Fortunately, folks on this board have real-world experience about when the actual dining takes place.

@Chili327 Yes, you'll need to allow more than two hours.

I went digging through my confirmation email, and found this:
2 Hours/$10 Cancellation Policy You must cancel at least 2 hours prior to your reservation to avoid a per person cancellation fee. If you fail to cancel timely or are a no show, the credit card provided at the time of reservation will be charged $10.00 per person.

And know that you should arrive at 715 because they WILL give away your seats if you are too late.
Just wanted to confirm this, because I was so surprised to find out that they would! The first time we did the RBT premium package we arrived around 7:30 and the CM said, "Oh, we were just about to give your table away."

I can see where the confusion lies. It says “Sit down to some down-home cooking while enjoying riverfront views at this iconic Disneyland Park eatery.” I can see how “enjoying riverfront views” could seem like watching the show while eating since the show does take place on/across the river. I think Disney could be more clear about how this experience works in the description for sure.
