I just don't think "One more Disney day" is gonna be the park being open extra hours on 2-29. Doesn't make sense to me. Not getting my hopes up. But still wanna know what it is.

It seems likely that there will be something on 2/29, but it is not the whole thing.

Agreed. That might be ONE of the announcements for 2012 but it won't be the only one. A one day promotion is not going to be all there is.

I will be waiting and watching closely . . .I haven't made any plans to do a trip in 2012 . . . To be honest (and I never thought this would be coming out of my mouth) after traveling to WDW 6 times in 2011, I'm just not feeling it anymore . .

Them being on dick Clark's show to announce this isn't going to be cheap. They wouldn't have done that to only announce a one day opening because most people won't care unless they were already planning to go on the day anyway

I bet it will be towards midnight. They'll tease about it for as long as they can to keep you tuned in.

We'll be watching. My kids love to watch the ball drop - and then they think it is midnight when it is really only 11 - so we put them to bed at 11 (they still aren't on to us with this trick yet, LOL).

If you go to onemoredisneyday.com they have an Announcement Countdown ticker showing the number of hours and minutes left. It that is exact, it would put the announcement at 11pm eastern time.

But it isn't a happy dance about my next trip, or planning that trip, etc. as the forum description says. Probably better for the Promotions/Celebration forum if anything.
