IMG_2329.jpg

Two moist carrot cake cookies sandwiched together with frosting! Can you say YUMMY!!!!!!!! ;)
It's big enough to share and keeps moist and yummy for quite some time.
(We had about half of it and kept the rest in the fridge for a few days. Still nice!)

The other treat was a

Next up - Wolfgang Puck's Express

YUM! I love chocolate covered marshmallow.:thumbsup2 add in there is cake in it and I am sold!!

So now I have to add a cake pop to my never ending list of snacks to try!!
I need to update my packing list to ensure that all of my shorts have elasticated waists :)

Your sandwiches look yummy!

Tom makes really yummy sandwiches - we love those for breakfast. :goodvibes

YUM! I love chocolate covered marshmallow.:thumbsup2 add in there is cake in it and I am sold!!

You really have to try a cake pop! They have different variations of them. And they are so nice! I cut them in half and had them on two days as Tom is not much of a sweets kind of guy and I "had to" eat it all by myself. :rotfl2:

I am SO sorry, Linda! You poor thing ....... having to try all those YUMMY snacks! :rotfl2:
No need for those shorts with elasticated waists ...... with all the walking you won't have a problem. ;)

Day 22, September 3

Wolfgang Puck's Express

Lunch was at Wolfgang Puck's Express.

No pizza this time. Tom ordered the

IMG_2333.jpg

IMG_2332.jpg

Pesto Chicken Salad Sandwich, romaine, red onions, plum tomatoes and lots of juicy chicken pieces, tossed in caesar dressing. The sandwiches are huge and very tasty and it is easy to split them. There was a lot of chicken and the dressing was just right. The chips are homemade and very tasty.

I wanted to try something new and something a little lighter. So I ordered the

IMG_2331.jpg

IMG_2330.jpg

Oven Roasted Salmon, fennel, tomatoes, arugula, roasted potatoes and horseradish cream. Let me tell you, it was delicious! The salmon was nice, maybe a tick overdone, but it still went nicely with the fresh and lightly dressed salad. The potatoes are always yummy at Wolfgang's and the horseradish cream was very mild, not overpowering at all.

We had to have dessert,

IMG_2334.jpg

IMG_2335.jpg

Creme Brulee, of course. We both love the Creme Brulee there, it is very light and creamy and always has a good burnt sugar crust. Not to forget the yummy strawberry on top! :thumbsup2

Next up - Supermarket goodies

Wow a hamburger cake, awesome!

It was just so real looking ...... isn't it a fun cake? :goodvibes

Those burger cakes and cupcakes are just too cute.

We don't have cakes like this and they just looked so nice - perfect cake for a kid's birthday! :thumbsup2

Linda, you have to try the salmon .... it was really nice! And such a change from the usual standard food.
And to answer your question ..... NO, we did not buy the burger cake. I had a Mickey head cake on order at the BW bakery. :rotfl2:

Day 22, September 3

Krispy Kreme

After we got home, we had dinner "out of the fridge", finishing off some of the things that we still had leftovers from.

But we both craved something sweet. ;)
So off we went to Krispy Kreme.
Their "Hot Now" sign was on, so we ordered some coffee

IMG_2344.jpg

and Diet Coke

IMG_2348.jpg

and a dozen

HOT, freshly glazed, soft, melt in your mouth, yummy doughnuts. After inhaling some of them ;) we made our way back to our home at OKW

Next up - Breakfast at IHOP

Day 23, September 4

IHOP

This morning we decided to venture off property for breakfast. Remember that being from Europe there are lots of things to try, not only Disney food. We had been to IHOP MANY years ago and wanted to refresh our memory. ;)

There were people waiting but it did not take long until we were led to a table and a very friendly server asked for our drinks order.
Once we had ordered

IMG_2357.jpg

coffee, tea and orange juice we went on to have a good look at the menu.

Tom decided on the

IMG_2361.jpg

IMG_2362.jpg

Chicken Fajita Omelette, grilled Fajita seasoned chicken breast strips, onions and fresh green peppers with salsa and a blend of cheeses. It was also served with sour cream and

IMG_2364.jpg

a side of pancakes.

Now, that omelette was HUGE and stuffed full with meat, onions and peppers. It was very nicely seasoned and he enjoyed it a lot.

I had my heart set on the Stuffed French Toast Combo,

IMG_2360.jpg

Cinnamon raisin French Toast with a sweet cream cheese filling crowned with Cinnamon apple compote and whipped topping. :cloud9:
It was sweet, but so tasty. The filling oozing out of the French Toast mixed with the apple compote and it tasted just heavenly. I could have done without the whipped topping, but we were on vacation, so it was alright. ;)

It was served with

IMG_2358.jpg

two scrambled eggs, hash browns and two bacon strips. It was a huge breakfast and very reasonably priced. And while I could not finish the eggs and potatoes, I DID finish the French toast! :thumbsup2

Next up - Trilo-Bites

Day 19, August 31

Tow Mater Grill

After 11 nights on board we underestimated packing and had to miss our last dinner service on board. :sad2:

So once we were done packing we headed to Tow Mater Grill to pick up some

IMG_2161.jpg

Hot Dogs! Well, they were really yummy. Unfortunately they had already closed the condiments bar, so they were rather basic, but yummy none the less. :thumbsup2

Next up - Luigi's Pizza

Day 19, August 31

Luigi's Pizza

Our second option came from Luigi's Pizza. Again, we were finished with packing rather late, so there wasn't much choice left and they had just cut a fresh

IMG_2163.jpg

Pepperoni Pizza, so we took two slices as well. Not the very best pizza in the world, but hot and fresh, with gooey cheese on top.

It was time to leave the ship ........

IMG_2164.jpg

even the adult beverages were gone. ;) :rotfl2:

Next up - Debarkation Breakfast

Day 20, September 1

Debarkation Breakfast

It was time to say goodbye to the DREAM and the Fishermans

IMG_2186.jpg

We had one last breakfast on the DREAM .....

Tom had the

IMG_2189.jpg

Route 66, scrambled eggs, bacon, grilled sausage, grilled ham and hash browns. Not bad, but nothing to write home about either. ;)

I had a

IMG_2187.jpg

Ham and Cheese Omelette. And then it was time to say goodbye to our fabulous servers.

IMG_2195.jpg

Next up - In room lunch and dinner
OMG we had so much fun with you and Tom on this trip but like all magical things they have to come to an end . I was  that it was over but i knew we would say Hi in WDW before we left
so i knew it would not be goodbye :goodvibes.
The wait staff was amazing hope to have them again :goodvibes

Oh wow I have just spotted the IHOP stuffed French toast ............ YUMMY :)

You really have to try a cake pop! They have different variations of them. And they are so nice! I cut them in half and had them on two days as Tom is not much of a sweets kind of guy and I "had to" eat it all by myself. :rotfl2:

We ordered on this last trip. Dd had it... and I snagged a bite. It was yummy. Course, hers had marshmallow on it. Maybe it wasn't a cake pop?

I wanted to try something new and something a little lighter. So I ordered the

This is what I have ordered both times I was there. YUM!
This morning we decided to venture off property for breakfast. Remember that being from Europe there are lots of things to try, not only Disney food. We had been to IHOP MANY years ago and wanted to refresh our memory. ;)

I have a love hate relationship with IHOP. I love the way the food like the stuffed french toast tastes... but the calorie count is OUTRAGEOUS..so hate that. But... calories dont count on vacation, right? ;)
