Supercallifragilistic-ADR'sApproachUs! May '09 PTR *Trip Report has Begun! Pg. 208*

Having your mom join you would be great. My mom and I have done a few little overnight trips and have always had a wonderful time. I wouldn't trade those moments for anything.

I love your lists for things to do in parks. I need to do that.

I enjoyed reading btw!
Thanks for reading! I love making lists, it makes me even more excited for my trip.

Mother-daughter trips are awesome!!! I love getting to spend time with my little girl, even though she is a grown-up girl. I hope that works out for you.
I called my mom a little while ago and was telling her how fun it would be if she went with me. I asked her if she thought we'd ever get a chance to do a trip just me and her without tons of complications and she said, "probably not." I am hoping that I have convinced her. I am going to call my brother and tell him to get her some Disney Dollars or a Disney Gift Card for Mother's Day. :thumbsup2

I can't even remember the last time my Mom and I did something like this, I think it would be great. How are you by the way? I miss chatting with you!

Geeze girl, how many updates have I missed?!:scared1:

First off, congratulations on less than 60 days! I was looking at your ticker and it seems like you're getting SO close SO quickly! I LOVED the 60 best things list, that should be some sort of advertisement for Disney (of course with the perks of free trips for you!)

I'm so excited for you that your mom is thinking about coming along with you! Especially since she sounded a little disappointed beforehand. Blake and I really like Restaurantosaurus, in AK, with Cosmic Rays a close 2nd, they have the best burgers and topping bar!! It says on the map "McDonalds" but trust me, it's not!!! Plus, they have some really pretty carved dinosaur lights and the dine in section is very much like the outdoors feel of the Wilderness Lodge! :thumbsup2

Tell your mom she HAS to go with you in May. Take it from someone who recently lost their mom, there is NO TIME LIKE THE PRESENT!!

Also tell her that all of your DIS friends are demanding she join you!:rotfl: You know how convincing us DISers can be!

I'm hanging in there. I've been a bit stressed with some things, but more or less okay. I've been spending much more time at the gym trying to get into shape so that's been a huge eater of what little free time I have. :) I've been missing chatting with you too!

Aerophile at Downtown Disney.

From Allears...
Imagine an eagle's-eye view of the Downtown Disney area, with sweeping, 10-mile panoramas of Lake Buena Vista and environs. Downtown Disney greets summer guests with a new iconic attraction in the form of a giant tethered balloon – Aerophile – that will take guests 300 feet into the air from the waterfront. The 72-foot-diameter balloon can lift up to 30 guests at a time on a six-minute "flight," by day or night.

Aerophile debuts at Downtown Disney's West Side in April 2009!

I read about this in my Celebrations magazine...it sounds so cool!

A mother-daughter trip would be great -- you would have so much fun together!

Jen, I want to try a frozen chai at Animal Kingdom as well!

Oh I hope your mom is able to join you. I LOVE my mother daughter WDW trips and wouldn't trade them in for anything.:goodvibes Has she been to Disney before? Keeping my fingers crossed for you!:)

I'm an updating fool. The more I update, the closer it makes me feel to my trip. :rolleyes1
Free trips sound good to me, you should all tell Disney they should hire me!
Oooh, dinosaur lights! Restaurantosaurus is on my list to try for CS at AK. :thumbsup2

I'm really hoping to convince her. When I talked to her this morning she said she is thinking about Wednesday - Saturday so she could still work Monday & Tuesday. She said she has to figure out the roof situation for their garage. I'm hoping to really convince her to go. I'm working hard. I sent her Jiko and Crystal Palace menu links and I sent her pictures of All Star Music, so the Disney brain washing has begun! ;)

Gym time is good. Once we move I am going to get myself into a gym routine. I want to become one of those people who feel yucky when they don't exercise. Hehehe.

I saw that wdwinfo posted prices and I think it was $16 for adults...doesn't seem THAT bad if it's something you really want to do.

I really hope I can convince her to go. I might have to enlist my Dad to help me convince her. I have been thinking about picking up a few Disney Dollars to send her too.

I definitely haven't got to that point yet. Last night I was dragging myself there - soooo wasn't in the mood. Although I do get quite cranky when I can't get into my Zumba classes. I'm addicted to those. Unfortunately they are so crazy popular at my gym that you have to register for them the day before - at 5 am when the gym opens. Yesterday I overslept by half an hour and when I called at 5:30 it was already full. Put me into a cranky mood all day!

I have been toying with the idea of training for a half marathon though. I don't know what's come over me! Speedwalking with a bit of running hopefully. I'm just so tempted by the Disney Princess 1/2 marathon.

Sending some pixiedust: for a "yes" from your mom! Do you have any other family you can enlist in your cause? Maybe you could stage a Disney trip intervention.:rotfl:

That would make me cranky too!! I was telling Marc about the 1/2 marathon, setting that as my goal to compete in. I think that would be the ultimate reward. Get healthy, Princess 1/2 marathon, Disney trip! :rotfl2:

:lmao: A Disney Trip Intervention! :rotfl2: I love that!! I think today I will send her the link to the pictures of flower & garden festival. Muhahahahaha! I'm going to convince her!

My computer is down so I finally confiscated DD(16)'s laptop.:headache:
Love the 60 day list, I wasn't in a very Disney mood when I got home from work this morning and then I read your list and suddenly I'm excited about the trip again.:woohoo::goodvibes
I can't believe our trips are so close!!! It helps that I work most weekends so the times goes extremely fast.
I hope your stress level lessens  and also that your mom can join you on your trip. I had a blast with my mom last year and plan on taking her for DD's graduation trip next year. Hopefully we'll also make it for free dining one year. (If Disney continues to offer it.)

I'm glad my list put you in a Disney mood!! :woohoo: I can't believe they are getting close too, sometimes it feels like they are never going to get here and then I think about it and it's getting closer and closer! :yay:

I think after the move my stress level will go down, or at least my personal stress level will go down and my work one will be more manageable. :thumbsup2 I really hope anyways. :rotfl2:

Oh lord, this is something else I am going to have to add to our trip:rotfl:

We'd have to have a Lapuette team walk/run!

I'm thinking though that I may have to wait to 2011 just because of finances though. I'm going to have to wait and see. I timed myself on the treadmill last night and was only doing about 3mph walking. So not going to cut it. Although part of my problem is a teensy bit of treadmill fear I've developed since my accident. I refuse to even think of running on the stupid thing. My first goal is to get to were my walks, irregardless of length, are fast enough so I wouldn't get swept, then I'll build stamina.

Yeah, that seems to be a problem of mine on this PTR. :lmao:

2011 sounds like a fine goal, no way could I do it in 2010. Who knows if I could even be able to do it at all. :confused3

I've never been to Animal Kingdom. We are going to make it there this trip though. Anna Grace really wants to see Pocahontas. I hope we can find her.

I really hope your Mom decides to go with you!!!!!!

I think Pocahontas is usually at the Conservation Station at Animal Kingdom. I think that is what it's called, maybe someone else can confirm for you on here.

After her daily dose of Disney email today she emailed me back and asked me what the dates were again, I think that is promising. :thumbsup2
