Supercallifragilistic-ADR'sApproachUs! May '09 PTR *Trip Report has Begun! Pg. 208*

See Phillip was quite the opposite he was definitely not jealous of Nobby going to Disney LOL!!! He was quite amused with Nobby though LOL. He says in his saracastic voice, I hope that gnome knows how good he has it...how many places is he going this year!!
Nobby does have it good! He's probably the most spoiled gnome around! ;)

I love how you are documenting Nobby's adventures around your office! Too hilarious. I love your Disney Page A Day Calendar too, I used to get one of those every year and tearing off the page was seriously the highlight of my day :rotfl: This year a friend bought me a kitten page-a-day calendar and it just isn't the same!
The idea for the passport for Nobby is so cute too. Love love it!
I have had fun. I'm going to miss him when he gets shipped off to Julez. Last year I had a Stuff on Cats page a day calendar and I missed my Disney one so I had to get one this year. It is the highlight of my mornings!

Day 2.
*Wake up, eat breakfast in the room. Jen has been kind enough to offer to stop and get some breakfast items and water for us to help curb the dining costs. Of course, we can always have some of those delicious pretzels for breakfast too. Hehehe.
*Get to Epcot for rope drop or close to it. I think it's safe to say that we will be there in time for rope drop but nothing is set in stone. We plan to head to Soarin right away.
*Enjoy the Future World section of Epcot.
*Check out all the Flower & Garden displays and such.
*Lunch at Le Cellier. Chocolate Moose here I come!!! Jen, did you want Chocolate Moose, I can't remember...?
*Probably explore World Showcase. I have some appointments with light fixtures. We also want to hit up American Adventure together as well as Maelstrom and the Mexico ride, why can't I ever remember what that is called? Grand Fiesta??
*We also want to hit up the Visa Meet N' Greet. I've never done this so I am excited about it. Jen knows the ropes.
*Dinner at Akershush.
*We are planning on an earlier dinner. Not quite sure how late we will stay at Epcot. Depending on if we take a break back at ASMu or not. We will hopefully have seen Illuminations the night before so we don't "have" to stay for that. So it's pretty much up in the air after that!

Sounds like a fantastic day!!! LL and Jen, Tell me more about the Visa Meet N Greet---I have one, but we have never done the Meet N Greet......is it worth it?

Your adventures with Nobby look like fun!!!! He is going to be one tired gnome after all his travels this year!

Oh yes I find the Visa Meet N Greet to really be worth it!! That is where I had my most magical moment with Goofy!! You get to meet 1-2 characters and its just a private meet for you guys...it was amazing!!

Where do they house this at Epcot? Do I need to make a reservation, or just show up with my Visa in hand?

It is in Innoventions East to the right of Spaceship Earth. When you go into the building the line forms behind the big firetruck. You just need to show up with your VISA in hand!! It will totally be worth it...especially if Minnie is there for your little " Minnie "

Thanks Jen!!! I think we really will try to sneak in there this year!! I am sure regardless of who is in there, Megs will LOVE it!!! She LIVES for seeing the characters!!! I think because of this, this year we are going to try to do more character meals than we have in years past---this trip is going to be SO TOTALLY about her! :o) Thanks again for the info and all your help!! Jen

Oh LL! Look at Nobby's little hat! He certainly looks like he's being a helpful little Gnome at work. Hopefully he's not getting into too much mischief on the side! ;)

I'm so excited about this trip, seriously. I can't wait to hear all about the shenanigans you ladies get into with Nobby!

I love the passport idea LL! :thumbsup2

I seriously laughed out loud while at work when I read Nobby's valentine to Snow White! :lmao: :worship:

I totally saw the little gnome on the Expedia commercial for the first time today.

The first thing that came to my mind was "Nobby!!!!"

And then I realized I might be spending too much time reading PTRs.:lmao:

I was going to ask Jen to describe the Visa Meet N Greet for you but she already did! She's good like that!! ;) I have never done it before so I am happy that Jen has so she can show me the ropes! :rotfl:

I can't take credit for the hat, my cubicle mate did that. She's talented, it also goes to show you how bored we get. Shhhh, don't tell anyone! :rotfl:

:rotfl2: Never! Too much time on the DIS!?? Pffft. ;)

You know its sad when you watch the Travelocity commericials and then you say to yourself...hmmm when exactly did Nobby find the time to film them and last time I checked he told me he didn't like heights LOL

Okay so that was completely and utterly random..I'm going to go now!!!:rotfl2:

Your randomness is always welcome here. :flower3:

Oh my gosh, just took a gander at your "There's Gnome place like Walt Disney World" link, that is crazy huge!:woohoo:

:rotfl: I love all the pics of Nobby! Not only is he cute, but he's smart and handy in fixing that copier! Snow White should choose him! Pick Nobby! Pick Nobby!

I love the memory book too, that is such a clever idea, and will be a blast for you all to page through and share in the memories. :goodvibes

Your plans so far look great too! I'm REALLY looking forward to this TR!!! :woohoo:

Thanks, Brook. If Snow White knew what was good for her, she would pick Nobby for sure! ;)

I checked my Southwest flights today and they had gone down in price. I saved myself $56 in credit form that has to be used by Jan. 2010. Think I can convince Marc that I deserve a birthday trip to WDW....??? :rolleyes1 It's a pretty sweet deal with a flight credit and a $75 birthday card.....:rolleyes1

Day 3.
*Rope Drop @ Magic Kingdom! I am so very excited for Day 3. It's going to be a very good day. I think the plan is to go ride the rides in Fantasyland and then hit up Toon Town to meet the fairies unless we got to that on Friday.
*Enjoy the wonderfulness of Magic Kingdom and of course ride some rides!
*Lunch @ Whispering Canyon Cafe. Has anyone seen pictures of the delicious looking Smores Cheesecake at WCC? I really, really want to try it. Not to mention delicious milkshakes. Drool.
*Break @ ASMu. We have plans for a very late night, we will need some beauty sleep!
*Head back to MK.
*Dinner @ Cinderella's Royal Table. Woo Hoo!! I believe Jen said she has never eaten at the castle! She must, I insist. I am really looking forward to this meal too. I really want to just enjoy the meal and the castle atmosphere. I feel like when I went on my birthday last trip, I was too preoccupied in getting a spot to watch Wishes to really enjoy the meal.
*EMH's at Magic Kingdom!! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: I am so excited. The park is open until 11PM, so that means we have the option of staying until 2AM. I think our goal is to stay the entire time. We'll be needing those naps in the afternoon for sure. :rotfl:

WOAH I did not know you could do that!! I have Southwest tickets for my March trip, I'll have to keep an eye on the prices! Thanks for the tip. How did you go about asking for the credit? Yay for you!

OMG LL you just saved me $86!! I checked my flights on Southwest and my outgoing flight had gone from $145 to $59!
THANK YOU for posting about this! :woohoo:

WOW! That's great, LL! WIshing I booked Southwest now, just checked Delta for September and they are still the same as when I booked them....they could have at least went up so I felt better!! LOL!:rotfl: Oh well...good for you though! And maybe this means a birthday trip!? Good luck with that one!!;)

What a great day you have planned!! Sounds fun and like a busy one, but if you nap, it should be doable!!! Fun, fun!!

Your MK day sounds great. I LOVE PM EMH at the Magic Kingdom, I think that park is so pretty at night. We've never gotten to 2am though, good luck! I think 1 am is the lastest we've stayed.

And congratulations on your flight savings! SWA sounds like a great airline.:thumbsup2
