Hi LL! I've been following your PTR and I haven't posted in quite a while. I felt so bad for you when you thought you had to give up your trip THEN you were going alone and THEN you had Nobby coming and THEN you a fellow DISer! You are going to have such a great time!!! It sounds like plans are forming and getting made... nothing more fun than planning a Disney trip!!

Hello!! This PTR should be named something like "The Trip of Constant Changes". You are so right about the planning of a trip. I am trying really hard to enjoy the planning because I know how sad it will be when it's all over.

Day one sounds like a winner!!! Seriously, how can you go wrong with plans like that???!!??!?!?! I'm glad for you that you are going to start your trip out with Jen---I think that will ease you into the process of your alone time later in the week---oh to be able to go and do just what you want---that sounds so FANTASTIC!

I am really happy that Jen will be there in the beginning. I was getting really nervous and I think it will be good for me to get my bearings and then have some alone time towards the end.

Looks like a great first day! Seeing the castle so early in the trip just makes it feel like Disney. I would love to try the Rose and Crown, can't wait to read about it.

I really want to see MK. I love the other parks but MK is Disney to me and the park that I miss the most when I am at home.

Today was quite the planning day between Jen & I. It dawned on Jen that in order for her to partake in the EMH's we were planning on that she would need a KTTW card. Originally I wasn't going to add her to the reservation because she has an AP and you need to have the same park tickets on your package for all guests. So after many PMs, I'm thinking I emptied my inbox about 4 times today, we figured out if we just added her to the package and each got 1 day tickets, we could upgrade mine when we arrived and she could save hers for Gnomefest. Done and done. Phew.

I called Disney Reservations tonight, made the changes and also added my flight information. Yahoo! I also inquired about changing my address since I will be moving right before they send out my ME information. The CM said I could just call and change it. I hope so. I want my ME tags!

Day 2.
*Wake up, eat breakfast in the room. Jen has been kind enough to offer to stop and get some breakfast items and water for us to help curb the dining costs. Of course, we can always have some of those delicious pretzels for breakfast too. Hehehe.
*Get to Epcot for rope drop or close to it. I think it's safe to say that we will be there in time for rope drop but nothing is set in stone. We plan to head to Soarin right away.
*Enjoy the Future World section of Epcot.
*Check out all the Flower & Garden displays and such.
*Lunch at Le Cellier. Chocolate Moose here I come!!! Jen, did you want Chocolate Moose, I can't remember...?
*Probably explore World Showcase. I have some appointments with light fixtures. We also want to hit up American Adventure together as well as Maelstrom and the Mexico ride, why can't I ever remember what that is called? Grand Fiesta??
*We also want to hit up the Visa Meet N' Greet. I've never done this so I am excited about it. Jen knows the ropes.
*Dinner at Akershush.
*We are planning on an earlier dinner. Not quite sure how late we will stay at Epcot. Depending on if we take a break back at ASMu or not. We will hopefully have seen Illuminations the night before so we don't "have" to stay for that. So it's pretty much up in the air after that!

Tomorrow I hope to post some pictures of the mischief that Nobby has gotten into this week!! <|: )

Your Saturday sounds great. I can't quite wrap my head around rope drop but I suppose it is something I should see at least once. Are you planning on wearing matching t-shirts? Random question but the reason I ask is I've heard of several different groups who got picked to open the park or be first on Soarin b/c they stood out in matching shirts. Something to consider... Of course you'll also have Nobby to draw CM attention!!

I think that was me. I dream about it all the time. That is the biggest draw for me to eat at Le Cellier.

I really can't wait to see it either. I remember my first trip when I was 5, and there were tons of topiary and flowers out and I always am disappointed because I remember there being way more on that trip than any other trip since then. I hope I get to see lots and lots of flowers and such.

Yes it is. It's the Princess dinner. I can't believe I didn't go into more detail about that when I typed out Day 2. Pffft. I need to be more descriptive!

Nobby spent most of the week at work with me. He liked sitting on my desk and watching me work. Weird little gnome. He spent the nights locked up in my desk drawer, no gnome theft on my watch!!

I thought he would be a bigger handful but he was really quite helpful!

He fixed the copier! Notice his thought bubble. He just can't get that Snow White out of his head! (My cubicle mate made him that sign, it was her idea. I think it's great. I must get some for my Disney trip.)

He reminded me how many days until Disney. This was on Thursday.

My cubicle mate made him a hat, out of a post it!!

He tamed the rabbit figurine on my desk.

And finally my cubicle mate helped him make Snow White a Valentine. I couldn't get a picture of the inside, it wouldn't stay open but it says...
"It's me or Dopey, take your pick! Nobby"



I wanted to show all of you something that I bought Nobby and the Marcettes.

His very own "passport" or memory book. I figure each of us who have Nobby can put a picture in it and write a little caption about what he did with us. I thought it would be cute to look at when it's our turn with him. Jen has picked out her picture for her trip with him in January, she just needs to work on that caption!! And I will do a picture for my time with him as well.

See Phillip was quite the opposite he was definitely not jealous of Nobby going to Disney LOL!!! He was quite amused with Nobby though LOL. He says in his saracastic voice, I hope that gnome knows how good he has it...how many places is he going this year!!

I love how you are documenting Nobby's adventures around your office! Too hilarious. I love your Disney Page A Day Calendar too, I used to get one of those every year and tearing off the page was seriously the highlight of my day This year a friend bought me a kitten page-a-day calendar and it just isn't the same!
The idea for the passport for Nobby is so cute too. Love love it!
