Super Soap Weekend 2007

Thanks you so much for the advice minniekins . I can't wait ! I use to live in orlando. So I've been to disney a hundred times. But never for supersoap opera weekend. I only lived there for two years. Yeah this site is pretty cool. You get to read about everyones experiences and all. Plus it's nice to know people are as excited as you are ya know? Oh that's also good to know about the big screens. How about the parades? Can you see them good? Whats the best place to sit or stand for them? I'm glad you told me about the stadium seating. I'm a lil short ( 5'4 on a good day )and its hard to see over peoples heads sometimes. Anywho Thanks so much. See ya down there ! Hot guys here we come !! I mean super soap opera weekend (ooops)

LOL Tweeky! You can normally see the day parades fairly well, arrive about 15 mins before it starts. The final parade of the night is another story, be there about 45 mins ahead of time if you want to be up front.

3 more sleeps for me and I will be there!!!!!!!!!!!

Also Tweeky, the day parades are kinda like a double parade because they go up and then come back down. So when they parade up all the people will follow to the stage for the chat session, that is when you chose your spot and listen to the chat session. When they parade back down you will have a good spot.

I dont know how everyone feels about meeting up but here is a suggestion.

Tentively, I am planning on watching The talk show "ABC's Hot Guys" that starts at 6:15 on Saturday. So maybe we could meet there? AMC has a parade at 5:30 so what I may do is watch them parade up to the stage and then head over for the show.

So if anyone wants to join us (hoping Faith wants to do this too) let me know. Dont know how they will make us line up for it but just an idea....whatcha think? Or what we could do is right after the parade meet say in front of the water fountain there on the street and head over to the talk show area? suggestions?

I am sure hoping they will. Would love to see Edyta! Of course if they are sent packing tonight I am sure she will not be there. Hoping he is still in it. He did so good last night. I just wish they would bring Maksim with them...he is just as hot as our soap hotties!

you know the talk shows are in a new spot this year over near TOT, I think. And most of the autographs are by the Backlot tours. looks like we will be doing alot of walking!

Yep, but I think it is bigger than the other place they used to hold them. I "may" or may not join you all, as af friend of mine from Daytona Beach will be there at WDW and we might meet up for dinner. Will let you all know.

This could be a good thing and a bad thing - good because it is a much bigger theater, bad because it is outdoors which means no AC. Hopefully it will be lots cooler weather than it was last year.

I read on another board that the Soap talk shows are being held in a new theater next to Rock n Roller coaster (not Beauty and the Beast Theatre) on a stage they built and use for special events like ESPN the Weekend and SSW.

I was just guessing so I could be wrong. The map makes it look like it is at B&TB stage. Guess we will find out in a couple days!!!!

Beauty and the Beast is where the game show with John-Paul will be. The Playhouse Disney tent set up next to Rock 'n' Rollercoaster is where the talk show will take place. That area is also where the GH: Nightshift crew will be signing autographs around 1-ish.

So happy. Only three more days ... I'm saying two because I'll be at Pop Century on Friday night!
