Super Heroes Marathon/Veteran's Day Weekend

I considering upgrading to AP's this summer and November 10-13 is the most likely weekend we would go in the fall. It's my daughter's 13th birthdays! (on the 8th) Looking at hotels they already look expensive for what I was hoping would be the off season...I guess that doesn't really exist anymore does it!
Just how crazy will it be? I guess in relative terms...we'll be there this summer July 15-21 and I'm expecting crowds, but would this weekend be worse? How would it compare to Halloween weekend or the weekend after Thanksgiving? Unfortunately my kids are with their dad every other weekend so these are my options.

we were there for it last November (I did the race) and it was no worse than any other weekend, really. I think it's worse in summer, honestly.

We have decided to just make the best of it and go Nov 11-14. Any advice?
