Super Goofs Team 4 Miles Challenge

3 miles and 1.5 hours to do that and Curves.

Looking forward to more time....I keep thinking it will happen soon....however, my goal for this weekend is to get my Christmas tree down finally, so you can see how far behind I am. :lmao: (slightly crazed laugh)

Well, no yoga to report from last night. We had a severe weather warning and Mom & I decided it was best not to go out in the sleet storm. Instead we tried to set up my new tent (from Target, 75% off) in Mom's basement to be sure all the parts were there, etc. That didn't work out exactly as planned... :rotfl:

So, the plan is to make yesterday be my rest day, and workout Friday (my normal rest day) instead.

I am glad I mailed my half registration to WDW yesterday.
I cannot believe they are raising the prices!
Wait, yes I can, it's Disney! ;)

GO TEAM HAKUNA MATATA, NO WORRIES!!!!

Did I post on the wrong thread, oops.

Visiting Panda:hippie:

Today was a XT day for me. Shoveling out from under nearly a foot of snow and doing my core/strength work I managed 30 minutes. Not much but tomorrow I should be able to make it back to the gym. Hoping to find some energy in there somewhere.

Way to go team and you can visit here anytime you wand Panda, you might just want to cheer for the winning team though.

Hi

Wow, My run today really cured all my aches and pains! I feel great now!

5.5 miles in 56 minutes.

Now I am off to softball practice #2 for the week....

Cecilia

I did my Leslie Sansone Walk Away The Pounds 2 Mile DVD tonight.

Even though it's billed as 2 miles, I am not sure we should count it as "miles." What do you guys think? If anyone is not familiar with her DVDs...it's basically walking in place, legs lifts, kicks, etc. And she adds in some upper body work with the stretchie band. I do have a bunch of her DVDs and love them!

30 mins. XT

5.7 miles for me today (4 on TM for 57 minutes). The TM is my best friend now that I can't go outside EVER (okay it feels like ever) to walk!

Up to date to here. I will collect your FINAL miles today and Sunday and post them on the spreadsheet. Anyone who is reporting weekly, be sure to get all your miles in by tomorrow. I have swim lessons, a gymnastics meet and a 6 mile run tomorrow to work in along with a DH who got behind hauling logs by having to plow all this snow so he will be MIA. You should all be able to go in by Sunday afternoon on the spreadsheet and see your totals for the week (please check my math :teacher: ...I am great at algebra, geometry, anything with a's and b's but not so much the plus/minus thing).

I am hoping for better totals next week. This upper respiratory bug has really kicked me in the pants this week. Thank goodness for this challenge, otherwise, I would have slept every afternoon instead of getting up and doing something...anything...I hate being sick!!!

We have also not heard from Susie (Escape) or Nukeman (her DH) since the storms passed through Arkansas. Stephanie (Nucpharm) reported on the mega thread that Susie was closer to the big twister. Let's all keep our fingers crossed, say prayers or do what you do in hopes that they and their family are all safe. :flower3:

I am taking today off. I just am pooped beyond belief!

I can't wait to see our totals. The spreadsheet looks amazing and I am sure it will give me the kick in the pants I need to get myself back into walking/running even more. I am working on a faster pace by taking smaller steps but making sure to get enough in each minute.

My two goals for the next few months: lose 20 pounds by June 1 and to get under a 15 minute pace. I am NOT getting swept next year!

Go Super Goofs!!!

Everyone's miles and hours that I have to this point are posted. We have a total of 184.88 miles and have 20:32 logged thus far.

I got on the elliptical this afternoon for an hour. Yay for no joint pounding and yay I can "run" faster on the elliptical. Sixty minutes brought us 8.8 miles more on our totals.

If you would all like, you can access the spreadsheet and check your own miles and hours. I will post anything that was done today on Sunday as I am busy until that time. So far, we are certainly not a DLF. :cool1:

Get out there and get your miles/hours in next week!! The new week starts tomorrow so be sure you separate today's totals from tomorrow when you post.

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND EVERYONE!!!!

I am embarassed to say that I was only able to get out to run once this week. I went out way too fast last week, I tend to do that on the track, as a result my ITB was bothering me. Although I do not like running when it is too cold, I couldn't resist the light falling snow today. It was very peaceful.

3.2 miles
1.5 hours (includes weight training)

2/6
1.8 miles/22 mins
shoveled for 1/2 hour

2/7
.75 miles/15 mins

2/8
2.5 miles/36 mins

We are all going to have "off" weeks. I hope you are feeling better!

Hi everyone!

Sorry, I've been a little side-tracked this week. We had a tornado hit 10 miles from my house on Tuesday. Luckily, we only had roof damage to our house and minor flooding in a rent house we own. Unfortunately, there were around 60 homes that were destroyed and several people that lost their lives close to where we live. Very, very sad. We were lucky, indeed.

Needless to say, I didn't get in any more miles or hours other than what I've already reported....unless you can call cleaning up debris XT. Steve, on the other hand, did manage to get some miles/hours in. Here's his info up through yesterday (Thurs.) (in addition to what I've already posted):

3 hours (XT + walking) / 6 miles.

Hope everyone else is doing well. I haven't been able to get caught up yet. I plan to do some walking/running this weekend.

Have a good weekend!

In the ultimate "taking it for the team" concept, I'm leaving tomorrow (Sunday) for WDW to rack up the miles for the team. I'll be gone until the 20th. When I get back I'll report my miles. I just wanted to let you guys know, so I won't be considered MIA. Have fun while I'm gone!

HI Everyone-

We had some family emergencies pop up on Thursday night and so I ended up not getting my cross training in on Friday. Even my run today is in danger. I am hoping to get out there later today and run but, if not, I will run on Sunday.

I need to take it easy as I am definately trying to develop a full blown cold.

Cecilia

Stacey - ride RnR coaster for me!

Cecilia - keep that cold at bay, ok? :wizard:

Susie - I was so glad to hear that you guys were ok!

Angie - Good luck tomorrow! I will be thinking about you and sending lots of :wizard: your way! Can't wait to here how the race was.

I am heading out to that Fitness Yoga class. So in case I don't get back online today ( - but I really am trying to limit the time the internet sucks out of my life. Really!) , put me down for:
60 mins. XT

I played two hours of basketball on Friday night, so count me in for some XT.

This was a slow week for me, as I was not feeling well, and had to take it easy a bit. This week hopefully will better.

Everyone is doing a great job!
