Super Goofs Team 4 Miles Challenge

For some reason my post did not get up.
Please add 45 minute spin class to the riding I mentioned earlier for today.You guys rock! We are so not slugs!
 
HI everyone! I am still here...I was pretty sick last week and didn't do much of anything!!! But, I have gotten in some exercise this week:

Sunday: 1.5 hours of hockey
Monday: 1.5 hours of hockey
Tuesday: 3 miles in 30 min

I am heading out in a few minutes for another hockey game!! So, that will mean 1.5 hours more of hockey!!! I am finally getting back on track!!

Keep up the good work everyone!!
 
Just back from the gym. I did the first 2 miles on the treadmill, where I always go slower for some reason. And I added incline, which I never do (trying to prepare for Great Bay). Anywho, I think I started my incline work a bit high. I started at 5%, then finished the first mile at 4%. The second mile I did at 2%. I then went to the track for my last two miles, but was spent. So, it became one more mile.

3 miles - 45 mins.

strength training : 45 min

Totals: time - 110 min
miles - 5

Good Morning all-
I rode for 2 hours today. It's my birthday today and I completed my extra special birthday workout- I sat on the couch and ate a half a box of girl scout thin mint cookies. It counts, right!

Mine is next month and its hard to believe just how old I am getting.

Put me down for an hour of weight hefting today. I joined a buddy of mine who is a personal trainer. He was doing his own workout between clients and asked me to join in. I told him about my xt fiasco so he kept the work out fairly easy. I am tired and I am supposed to run with the big dogs tonight!

Oh the "big dogs" is my term for some running buddies of mine. They all have multiple marathons under their belts and many are working on running a marthon in every state. Wednesday nights are the "Beer and Pizza runs" and I love it when I get to join them. I am slower than most of them but Wednesdays are a short run (5 miles) so I push hard and mostly manage to keep up with the back of the pack. Occasionally, one of the group will have mercy on me and run closer to my pace. That is usually when they are hungover or recovering from some miscellaneous injury. Keeps me humble.
 
Happy Birthday Joanne. Have a thin mint for me, they are my weakness.

Beth: I got your PM and I have not updated as I was waiting for Stacey to post her times for last week before I went into the spreadsheet again. It bogs my computer down and takes me forever so I put it off and do it all at once. :badpc:

All you NH girls (and Chad too): I am headed to Portsmouth for a field hockey tournament on Sunday. Anyone up for lunch?????

Off day for me by force again. Headed to get adjusted at 4 p.m. Wish me luck that this is a one time shot. I got one back in but 4 left to go. Then field hockey practice until 8:30 p.m. On the up side, I will be in the car during the start of the lunar eclipse!!!!

Chad is working on Sunday and I already have plans to scrapbook all day with his sisters & mom. I am dying to finish my "race album." I put all my race pictures, certificates, etc. in it. I finished last year's Minnie and started doing the Disneyland 5k that I skipped over. Then I need to do the 2008 half and I am caught up!
 
Lisa: Thanks, I wasn't sure if you had gotten the pm or not. I know it takes my computer a long time when getting in the spreadsheet, so I know your frustration!:confused3

It's snowing here right now, so it looks like it will be the dreadmill again....:headache: I am so looking forward to the nice weather!:cloud9:

I hope my fellow teammates will forgive me for not posting lately. I have been working almost 18 hour days for the last 4 days. I am exhausted and I need to prepare for a marathon relay on March 2. Ugh!

I'm going to try to get some much needed rest today and start exercising again tomorrow. I knew that this would be a slow time (exercise-wise) for me when I signed up for this team effort but I promise I will pull my weight in the coming weeks and months.

Linda- I would have loved to get together with you Sunday but Portsmouth is not too close to me. i usually pick up a double shift on Sundays during the winter months and I will be on that day. Next time!

Double duty tomorrow. I bought myself a new Garmin 305 and I am dying to try it out.

Susie: Sorry to hear that LTO but glad to have you back with us again. That is going to happen to all of us sooner or later. Heck Cecelia has had weekend company forever!!!

So, OMG I feel soooooo much better today. Ready to get out and bust some miles this afternoon. DD said she wanted to go to the gym with me but when I told her I planned to be on the elliptical for about an hour and a half she gave me this funny teenager looking at her crazy mom look.

I sat through 2.5 hours of field hockey practice last night. It was DD's first night as goalie and she liked it a lot. I am hoping after this weekend she feels the same. Our first game is at 1:30 p.m. and our last is at 6:30 p.m. I am up and on the computer working at 4:30 a.m. so this is going to be a long day for me. Newmarket was 2:15 from us so the ride home is probably sleep for me. Needless to say, after 9 a.m. on Sunday, I will be MIA until Monday.

I hope everyone had a great day yesterday, has a great day today and continuing on through the weekend. I am going to make up the miles I have lost this week (did someone say slug???) and after I catch up, I am going to start next week with a vengence. Hoping for a nice long walk in between matches on Sunday!!! :idea:

I bailed on yoga last night. My yoga bag/mat was in the minivan. The minivan was in Boston at work with Chad. :rolleyes: So, rather than doing some other xt, I went to have dinner at Unos! :rolleyes1 In my defense a little, I was still really wiped out yesterday. Those TM hills did a job on me! Back to it today, and more TM hills planned.

44:07 minutes (and I still got dropped in the end.)

No exercise today. LTO. sigh. I am hoping to get to the gym tomorrow though.
