I just spoke with Kathy and she has had an unfortunate event and she has informed me that she is not going to be able to go on our cruise. She has asked me to take over everything concerning the FE. So going forward I am going to be the point of Contact for this. I know majority of it is all taken care of and the lists are set but any questions that you may have can be directed at me. We do have 1 family that I am going to try to get in touch with that wanted to join and it was after the cut off. If it is ok with everybody depending on my success in contacting this other family I was just going to switch them out with Kathy's family. Is everyone ok with this? I check Facebook and Disboards regularly so either one is fine with me. I am going to try and firm these plans up this week. We have 48 days till paradise hope all is well with everyone.

I am new to this , and just found out about FE's . I read that the list is already closed for the 4/19 sailing. I would really love for my kids to be involved in this , any suggestions on how I can participate in FE?

Kathy fell and broke her leg and her arm pretty badly she is in good spirits but bummed about missing the cruise. She told me to post that she hopes everyone has a wonderful time. I do not know the make up for the other family just yet I am trying to get in contact with them so if anybody know or talks to her let her know to try and contact me. I will let you know ASAP if I get some information on it

Sorry to hear about Kathy's injuries and that she won't be joining us on the cruise. I hope she has a smooth recovery and can take another cruise soon!

I can't believe how close we are to our sail date. We are really looking forward to some warm weather and sunshine after this winter. Our kids just finished basketball season and we have a two week break until lacrosse and other spring sports start. Time to start pulling out clothes and see what fits

Not to get to sappy, but I'd just like to say how impressed I am with how willing everyone has been to pitch in and make real contributions to the group. We've seen some major changes since disneybeachprincess started this thread, families joining then having to leave, Joe setting up the private facebook group, Kathy's unbelievable organization of the FE, Mike stepping in to finish it off, Denise organizing not one but two mixology sessions, Cher for the Dis Meet and facebook contributions. I think this is easily the most active and productive Dis group we've ever been associated with, and I just want to say Thank You to all of you for your hard work. It's really true that it takes a village. It will be a real pleasure to sail with all of you!

So let the final countdown begin!

All I can say is Ditto to Pete's words! This is going to be my 1st Disney Cruise and probably my only...lol My family is very excited and we can't wait to meet everyone! Thanks everyone for making this a great community to be apart of before the cruise!

I would like to say Thank you, also! I had no idea that groups like this existed when I started researching DCL! I must say that, communicating with everyone and planning my FE's, etc, has made our vacation so much more exciting.....and we haven't even left yet! Can't wait! One question, are the mixology classes full? If not, how much are they? I may have some extra room in my budget and would like to do something fun for myself. Thanks, again.

We were wondering the same thing. I have heard that it may possibly be Clayton. My DS also wants to know who the captain will be, he hopes Captain Marco, he really enjoyed talking with him last time. Maybe we can ask in a couple of weeks.
