Super early easter april 19, 2014 fantasy cruise!

Hello Everyone,

I am brand new to DISboards but so glad we found it. This will be our second cruise (last was Disney Magic in 2010). There are 3 of us: myself (Tory) (DM), Nick (DH) and Cassie (DD). Cassie is 11 and an only child. We would love to have her meet other children to make the trip even more enjoyable. Since we live only 15 minutes from Disneyland, she is a Disney fanatic.

Welcome Tory! Our DD Nina is 10 1/2 and there will be lots of other "tweens" aboard as well. This is our 2nd cruise - we also were on the Magic in 2010 (February vacation, Western Carribean)

Hi everyone! Getting excited for our first Fantasy cruise (3rd Disney cruise-2 times on the dream previously).

So glad I found this thread. I have 2 DD. Jessica-almost 11 and Sarah-almost 9. Sarah can make friends with anyone...anywhere. She is looking forward to meeting new friends in the Club.
Jessica is very shy and wants to meet friends to hang out with. She is hoping to be able to go to the Edge since she thinks the Club/Lab is boring (too kiddish). I know about the meet/greet and will try to convince her to go the first day (if allowed). She would love to meet someone to hang out with. Once you get to know her she is a lot of fun and comes out of her shell.

We have a daughter that is turning 9 on tuesday She can make friends with anyone as well I am sure they will meet and have a blast for 7 days

I am the FE organizer and the list was closed back in February. I can throw a post out there to see if we could get you in some sort of list it may only be a few but I will see who would like to participate. In the meantime try to get 10 post on the disboards so I am able to send you a private message.

Tory - welcome! We live about 20 minutes from Disneyland too and has an only daughter Allison who is 11. We plan to be at the Dismeet on embarkation, so maybe they can meet. If you like for them to email/facetime each other before the cruise, let me know and I can send you Allison's email.

My DD Jessica (10 1/2) would love to meet up with Nina and Cassie. We will try to get to the Dis meet if not there then I am sure they will meet at some point. There seems to be lots of boys on this trip and not as many girls.

Glad that you are joining us! If you are staying at the Residence Inn Cocoa Beach, then we are having a informal meet the night before the cruise by the fire pit, you are welcome to join us.
We took our kids to Disneyland a couple of years ago and they would love to go back. My DS10 will be in the Oceaneer Lab, one of his favorite places on the ship.

Welcome! If you would like your names to appear in the rollcall you can post the information here. See post #7 for the official roll. Typically on the DIS Boards people will list adult names first (without ages, of course), followed by kids names and ages, such as DS Andrew (6) or something like that. We have several experienced DCL cruisers on this thread, so if you have specific questions, please feel free to ask and we will try to help.

Please add us to you list. We would love to join the others. This is our second cruise (Magic in 2009) but just discovered DiSboard a few days ago.

Thanks! This will also be the first time in a while that we are cruising without friends/built-in playmates for DD. If there's any DDs around her age (11) wanting to email so they can get to know each other before the cruise, let me know. We've done this in the past and have always worked out well. They can start emailing a month or two before the cruise.

We just joined DIsboards a few days ago. Didn't know something like this existed. We are also from Orange County (Fullerton) and traveling with our only daughter (Cassie) also age 11. It would be great for our daughter to get to know others as well before the cruise. I'm told we new 10 posts before we can send a PM. I'll try to get them done soon so that we can have them exchange e-mail addresses if you'd like.

I cant believe I forgot to post on here. 2 years planning for my parents 50th anniversary cruise/WDW stay is almost here and I forgot to check in. Not a usual poster but more of a lurker for info you could say. We are coming with my family. I am Dan, DW Laura, DS's Jacob 12 and Joey 3 and DD Jenna 8. Brothers family with triplets 16th birthday on sailing date and my parents. We all reside in Wisconsin. We will be the group of 12 at the early dining. lol. I have a lot of catching up on the board so just thought I'd check in quick before my day of reading. I may have checked in long ago and forgot. I need to check my history. lol
