Waving back!Isn't that amazing how high flights are from such a short distance, really?
I used to live in Plano so really just waving at yaHope your flights come down in price!!
Well, hi back at ya! I am in Littleton tooSeems to be a fair amount of us CO people here on the DIS!
Hi neighbor!! I'm in Centennial so we truly are neighbors.
I wanted to add that I think there are a LOT of Disney lovers in CO. Have to share a "small world" story that is just CRAZY!
So last year we went on the Disney Wonder in March to the Mexican Riviera. I was at the "adult only" pool catching some rays when the woman next to me struck up a conversation about something..don't even remember what right now. As we were talking a woman on the other side of me joined in the conversation. After about 15 minutes of talking about the ship, etc. she asked me (the original lady I was talking to) where I was from. I said "Colorado" she said..NO WAY!! I'm from CO too!! I said..NO WAY! The lady next to me said.."so am I" I was like REALLY??? NO WAY!!!
So she said "where" I said "Centennial" she says I'm in Littleton..I was like wow we really are neighbors. So I said where in Littleton? She says her cross streets..I was like..WHAT??? I told her mine. We LITERALLY live less than 2 miles away from eachother...randomly met and started chatting on a boat in the middle of the ocean!! The other lady lived in Denver but still not more than 15 minutes from us. Interesting thing is that this lady told me that she had met a lot of people from Colorado on the ship and I actually met a few others as well.
Just wanted to say Hi fellow Coloradoans..anybody else a Native??![]()
Waving back!
Then you know how ridiculously overpriced flying from Dallas is. I was all excited when Southwest was finally able to fly to Florida but now I say why?![]()
I'm not sure. It is supposed to be phased out gradually but I couldn't tell you where they are right now.It is expensive out of Dallas! My in-laws are going with us and I think they are flying United. Part of it is cause Southwest was still very high but also they live in Flower Mound and didn't want to have to drive to Love Field when DFW is almost in their backyard. Dallas seems to just stay high...maybe cause of the Wright Amendment...is that still in place?

I've checked United but they are so far the most expensive for me. I'll take anyone but American though!
Wow - I'm in Littleton too! I didn't realize how many CO folks were on here!!
Was able to get in on this one too.
I got round trip airfare for me and DH from Bham to Orlando for $218.
It was $49 down there and $60 back. The return trip is not nonstop but its still less than 4 hours. To drive it, it takes us an average of 12hrs. And I dont think we could buy gas for 218 round trip.
Now I have to shuffle my dates at All Star Music. Still hoping for a free dining pin. Or I have been considering staying off site at the Rodeway Inn. We can get a room for $165 TOTAL for 5 nights but would either need a rental car or taxi to get to the parks.... Decisions, decisions, decisions.
We were able to get a really good deal with the Southwest Anniversary Sale in June....
We weren't even planning a trip to Disney this year but when I found the flights with SW I couldn't resist asking DH for an end of Summer adventure.
From Cleveland to MCO we snagged $216.20 per person. Our last couple of trips to MCO and FLL have each been over $1K for our family of four. It does help that I had a voucher for my ticket so 4 of us heading to Disney for under $650!![]()
