That kind of talk makes me think being a Lions fan definitely has its perks.
Let me know when you figure out what they are! Your new Head Coach let a team put 40 on them in a Super Bowl game....

Super Bowl prediction? Lions - Super Bowl LIII champs.
Okay, so I'll show myself out.

Crazier things have happened. They were contending for the last wild card spot up until the end there. The Eagles were 7-9 last year and now they are WORLD CHAMPIONS! (you'll have to excuse me, I will end up typing that quite a bit b/c I've waited so long to do so).
Wait, is this supposed to be an attempt to trash talk a . . .
Lions fan? LOL!
You have to go back to Wentz. He's shown the potential to be a long term franchise QB. If he hadn't gotten hurt, he would have been very much in the running for MVP. Foles played out of his mind and he's owed all the credit in the world, but Wentz is their future. Foles has one year left on his contract. He'll certainly have trade value...lots of teams need a QB. However, there's no guarantee that Wentz will be 100% ready by time the 2018 season opens. He should be, but far from a certainty. My guess is that they'll hold onto him for a good while until they see how Wentz is progressing. From there, who knows?? Maybe they'll keep him, as it's a heck of a back up plan to have. But if someone offers a kings ransom... If they do keep him, Foles will have to make a decision on what he wants to do. He had talked about considering retirement before he went to the Chiefs. If he really wanted, he could retire today, buy himself a permanent home in the Philadelphia area and live the life of a hero for decades to come. Or maybe finish out his contract in Philly, because I think he gets something close to $10M next season, then retire a hero and stare at the statue they'll make for him.
I think an equally interesting question is what happens in Boston next season? Does the band stay together? My guess is yes, but interesting to see what happens.
So what is the New England press saying about that? What was the story there?
- Philly girl who hadn't even heard of the guy until the super bowl, but is intrigued by what is clearly a big story
Thanks for letting me relive this era. This morning I told my 7 year old about the two times the Pats were penalized for cheating (Spygate and Deflategate). The evidence some Pats fans keep denying exists.
Indisputable facts: prior to the investigation, McNally referred to himself as 'the deflator' in text message between him and another Pats employee. McNally received valuable memorabilia from TB. McNally insinuated he has a scandalous story to tell ESPN. There is video of McNally inappropriately taking the game balls into a locked room *after* the referees had inspected them (there was a restroom in the officials' locker room). What really happened? I lost my common sense a long time ago...
Do the Pats really run such a dis-organised ship that a game-day-only employee took it upon himself to tamper with the GOATs footballs? Without any direction from the Pats or TB? He just took it upon himself? Astounding!!!!![]()
God you’re boring...... why don’t you tell us about your first date!
Yeah right I'll believe you over the linebacker who intercepted the supposedly deflated ball. Good stuff.
Dear Patriots. Congrats on your 5th loss in the superbowl. Sincerely, the Vikings, Bills, and Broncos.
A walk down memory lane:
Shouldn't you congratulate them on their 5 wins, more than those 3 teams combined?
Those venison hoagies from Wawa that the Iggles ate were the deciding factor in their victory.
I'd explain it, for you. But if you have to explain the joke, it's kind of ruined.
I get it. Those teams lost 4 SB's and the Pats lost 5. If the Pats hadn't won more than all those teams, then the joke would have made some sense.
