Super Bowl Predictions?

That kind of talk makes me think being a Lions fan definitely has its perks.

Let me know when you figure out what they are! Your new Head Coach let a team put 40 on them in a Super Bowl game....

Super Bowl prediction? Lions - Super Bowl LIII champs.

Okay, so I'll show myself out.

Crazier things have happened. They were contending for the last wild card spot up until the end there. The Eagles were 7-9 last year and now they are WORLD CHAMPIONS! (you'll have to excuse me, I will end up typing that quite a bit b/c I've waited so long to do so).

Nick Foles' parade down Main Street USA is about to be live streamed from the MK:

I'd imagine it's a very exciting time to be an Eagles fan so no excuses necessary. As for the Lions, frankly I'm not certain anyone within the metro area would believe it possible even if we watched it happen.

You have to go back to Wentz. He's shown the potential to be a long term franchise QB. If he hadn't gotten hurt, he would have been very much in the running for MVP. Foles played out of his mind and he's owed all the credit in the world, but Wentz is their future. Foles has one year left on his contract. He'll certainly have trade value...lots of teams need a QB. However, there's no guarantee that Wentz will be 100% ready by time the 2018 season opens. He should be, but far from a certainty. My guess is that they'll hold onto him for a good while until they see how Wentz is progressing. From there, who knows?? Maybe they'll keep him, as it's a heck of a back up plan to have. But if someone offers a kings ransom... If they do keep him, Foles will have to make a decision on what he wants to do. He had talked about considering retirement before he went to the Chiefs. If he really wanted, he could retire today, buy himself a permanent home in the Philadelphia area and live the life of a hero for decades to come. Or maybe finish out his contract in Philly, because I think he gets something close to $10M next season, then retire a hero and stare at the statue they'll make for him.

I think an equally interesting question is what happens in Boston next season? Does the band stay together? My guess is yes, but interesting to see what happens.

Klay, the reason I asked is because on the broadcast yesterday I thought they said Wentz's knee injury could be worse than reported. I also heard somewhere else yesterday that there are concerns about the long term health of his knee. The Eagles are in great shape because they can now trade Foles for a nice draft pick and still have Wentz as QB. They can really ste themselves up for long term success.

Thanks for letting me relive this era. This morning I told my 7 year old about the two times the Pats were penalized for cheating (Spygate and Deflategate). The evidence some Pats fans keep denying exists.

Indisputable facts: prior to the investigation, McNally referred to himself as 'the deflator' in text message between him and another Pats employee. McNally received valuable memorabilia from TB. McNally insinuated he has a scandalous story to tell ESPN. There is video of McNally inappropriately taking the game balls into a locked room *after* the referees had inspected them (there was a restroom in the officials' locker room). What really happened? I lost my common sense a long time ago...

Do the Pats really run such a dis-organised ship that a game-day-only employee took it upon himself to tamper with the GOATs footballs? Without any direction from the Pats or TB? He just took it upon himself? Astounding!!!!:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Yeah right I'll believe you over the linebacker who intercepted the supposedly deflated ball. Good stuff.

Thought wearing the white jerseys would had given them an edge. But Patriots had no defense at all.
