Sunterra Resorts Polynesian Isles

Hi
My friend Has RCI timeshare and is trying to exchange a week. We've been offered Sunterra Resorts Polynesian Isles, Kissimmee.
Has anybody stayed here?
How far to the parks? which is the closest park?
Do they offer a shuttle service to WDW? (we won't be driving)
Any other info would be great.

My family of 4 stayed there last year for a week. We loved it. It was huge. It had two large bedrooms and two full baths. Complete kitchen and washer/dryer. The rooms all have either enclosed patios or balconies. All the rooms were receiving new living room furniture while we were there. I don't think they have a shuttle to the parks. We had a car, so didn't need a shuttle. I never saw one in the parking lot though. I think it was about a 10-15 minute drive to all parks. Place was very quiet and had a security guard on site. We felt very secure there. The kids liked the pool. It was never very crowded.

some of the units "share" the washer/dryer in an outside vestibule.....with another unit on the floor ( the w/d are OUTSIDE the actual unit both literally and figuratively )

I wouldn't like that! Our washer/dryer was inside room.
