Sunshine Rewards or My Points?

The problem I have with my sunshine rewards, is that if a shopping order does not credit, you are SOL and have no recourse.
With my points, if you have a problem with a shopping order not crediting, you can email them, and they have fixed the problem and credited my account every time.

Well, SR has a trouble ticket system where you can send your confirmation e-mail and they can track down the credit. Did you try that? They have always been able to find my credits floating around if they didn't pend automatically and I had to do a trouble ticket.

Sure I have.... some of them credited and some of them didn't. The thing i have a problem with is, they act like its my fault the order didn't credit. If they don't get credit, either do I.
Different with my points. they track and see that you clicked through their site, and if you did the order credits. they don't mention that if they don't get paid, you don't.
I'm not bashing the SR ppl. I think they are good people. Just sharing my honest experience with both sites.

Hmm...I have had completely the opposite experience with SR shopping credits. They have tracked down every single missing credit for me except one, and I mean even the little ones for a few cents. That's the best thing about SR, the customer service is really great, very personal.

I have tried My Points and I just didn't earn much on there. I like to do the "freebie" type offers and I couldn't get many to credit on MP. Plus, SR seems to have slightly higher payouts on many offers vs. other sites and higher survey payouts.

Also, I love that SR has so many contests in the forum. They're fun and really keep me motivated to earn that Disney $$.:thumbsup2

I do both sites. Mostly now I do my points because I'm also a bzz agent and I earn mp by doing bzz reports. It really helps increase the points.

RE: Paypal fees

I think PP changed their policy at some point. I had money sent to DH's account today for something I sold to someone on another board. I used his account, because it is still a personal account and I didn't think there were fees. I was wrong.

Once I looked into it, (search fees on PP) they now charge a fee for money received for "goods" and another category I forget. So basically, unless you choose "other" (if that is still an option), you will get hit with fees I think.

Also, I do Mypoints. I'm considering adding others, but have been with Mypoints for years. I use it to cash out of Rain Forest & T-Rex GC for my trips.

I have used SR, Mypoints and Quick Rewards. My favorites are QR and SR for shopping, with QR being a slight favorite.

The reason for this is the minimum that SR has for cashing out.

With SR you have to wait till you get to $20 before you can cash out. With QR you can cash out ANY amount at any time.

And if you cash out for Disney Dollars you have to choose between pre-set amounts with SR: either $20 or $30 worth of Disney Dollars (plus 44-cents shipping). So if you have $15 in your account and are getting ready to go to WDW, you're out of luck.

With QR, you can get any denomination of Disney Dollars - even one dollar. You do have to pay a 50-cent shipping charge with each order, so I like to get as many as possible. BUT when I am a couple weeks from going to Disney I like to clear out my account for Disney Dollars.

Tricia at SR is very nice, and Dmitry at QR is too. They are both good, honest and reputable programs.

I do MyPoints, SR and also InboxDollars. Before making a purchase I check all three to see who is offering the best deal.

I do the same thought I don't earn the thousand or even hundreds some people talk about here throu SR I do use them to shop occasionally if the pont value is more than the other programs I use. InboxDollars (which i don't seem to be getting emails to click any more not sure why) MyPoints and Ebates. I basically use whatever will give me the most points or if I have a coupon I'll go through MyPoints as they allow customers to use any coupon.

I always use QuickRewards if I can, they credit purchases fast and when I cash out for Paypal it comes FAST! If QR doesn't have the merchant I want, which is very rare, I go to MyPoints. There is a website out there that compares which reward site gives you the most reward for your purchase, but I can't seem to find it :confused3

Is this the one you were looking for?

I prefer Mypoints. It seems like it takes forever for me to earn enough to cash out at SR. I also got soured on SR after I bought a computer clicking through their site and never got credited, I did one trouble ticket with no response, waited and was told to do another one and it ended with me just being told I wasn't getting credited, no explanation or anything. I have never had a problem with credits through mypoints and I've been a member there for years.

I also prefer Mypoints. I did SR and QR when Disney GCs were crediting and still was using SR for a while buying smaller denomination of Disney GCs that would credit even though they weren't supposed to. But mostly I shop online so I use Mypoints for that since I can use any coupon code and still get credit.

I've been with Mypoints since the 90's though so I'm comfortable with them and never have any CS issues.

My vote is for Sunshine Rewards. I have done all the other sites mentioned before, but I have found that SR is the best fit for me. I do surveys, paid clicks, shopping, contests. The customer service in top notch and I have been able to cash out for many different giftcards.

I prefer Mypoints. I've been a member there for 10 years and have never had a problem. Can't say the same for sunshine rewards. When I finally had enough $ to cash out at SR my account disapeared and no amount of emails to try and get it fixed worked, so I spent time and money shopping through their site and got nothing for my trouble.

No fees for cashing out for a Disney gift card, except 44 cents for postage. There is also an e-mail option that doesn't have any fees at all.

SR doesn't charge a fee for PayPal cashout, but some members have had fees taken out, probably due to the kind of PayPal account they have. I'm not really sure since I don't cash out that way.

It has nothing to do with what kind of Paypal account you have. I have both a personal and a "premiere" account. If I had my payments made to my premiere account, I would lose a fee every time. I use my personal account for PTR payments, and SR is the ONLY program I lose money with on payments. That to me says it is definitely SR's responsibility to find out why that's happening and fix it if possible. Until they do, I won't shop through them.

Also did Sunshine Rewards for awhile and stopped bothering after some things didn't credit. I submitted the trouble tickets, but really didn't get any resolution. I requested updates and seriously waited about 4 months trying to get credit. Gave up after that and just do MyPoints....
