I agree. I've made $5.71 in a little over 4 years on the scratch off. I've made over $1,700 on surveys, a little shopping and some freebie offers. The scratchoff was never intended to be a wage winner, just a fun game. They recently switched to the random selection because, as I understand it, the old system of 500 available first come first serve, really excluded alot of west coasters.
While I don't think it is a break the bank expense for SR, it is an expense nontheless. And, if you've ever run your own business, any expense IS and expense to carefully consider. This is even more pertinent in this economy. The scratch off is not like offers, they get no %. It is just o.o.p. for them. And don't forget the SuperMembers don't have a daily cap limit, so doubtful it is mere pennies for SR, I bet it comes out to a thousand or two per year. Thats something to consider when watching your p's & q's
I agree with alot of the opinions here, I'm just giving my personal one. I can probably count on one hand the surveys or offers that have not credited in the four years I've been a member.
I guess my biggest plus is that, while I have dabbled in other sites along the way, they've all come and gone, and I'm still on SR. And they are still there. I like to trust in that sort of longevity.
But in the end, everyone has to do what is best for their own personal situation and preferences.
