Sunrise Safaris Question

Hello peeps,
I watching the Undiscovered Disneyworld on the Travel Channel and the Sunrise Safaris caught my eye. Do I have to be a guest at the AKL to take advantage of that?

it is my understanding it is offered only to guests on the conceigre level at AKL.

You have to be staying on the concierge level at the AKL to do this tour. The Sunrise Safari is one of the best tours at WDW and I would recommend it to everyone.

Yes, but there's an alternative. Now they have Magical Gatherings packages where you do not have to stay in any particular place. You just need a group of 8, then any members of your party can reserve any of the dinners or events (like a Peter Pan pirate one at MK or a Cinderella storybook one at Epcot that both sound great for kids.)

One is the Safari Celebration dinner where you meet at dusk for an up-close with the animals, then african-themed dinner at Tusker House with entertainment and also character meet & greet. This is rounded to $60 per adult. (The other events seemed less pricy, probably because of the animals, but think of what you'll save not having to pay over $400/night for concierge at the AK lodge!)

I did all this research this morning, glad I could pass on the info. You can call reservations and they'll forward you to the right number where the gal will send you a tape or DVD and/or tell you all about it.

Thank you very much for the info! but it's just the two of us going boo hoo. *sigh oh well. looks like i have another excuse to go back to Florida! Just gotta get some people together.
