My summer "uniform" is a simple cotton dress. I'm not a shorts gal. Can I wear my "uniform" on the rides? What about Soarin'? Yes, this is a real question. TIA.
My concern is about my dress flying up when the ride is in motion. I should be fine to climb into the rides. The dresses fall 1-3 inches above my knee. You may have an issue on in Space Mountain since you have to climb in and out of those vehicles, but everything else is pretty dress friendly![]()
Hmm. I wear the dresses to stay cool so bike shorts under would defeat that purpose. I would buy regular shorts if dresses won't work.I just wear some type of bike shorts under my dresses so I do not have to even worry. This usually also cuts down on any possible chaffing. I have read about the Skimmies and plan to give them a try.

Body Glide or Gold Bond Friction defense for next trip!My early 20's niece always wears dresses and skirts. On a trip a couple of years ago, that's all she packed. On the first couple of days, the heat and humidity coupled with the extra walking caused huge chaffing issues on her thighs. We spent one entire morning visiting gift shops trying to find her a pair of shorts/pants that she could wear under her skirts. (We finally found a capri length pajama bottoms that worked). She could barely walk for another 3-4 days until it healed up.
Funny story. We were at the TOTW Wishes viewing area at Bay Lake Tower last spring. It was a bit breezy that evening. A young lady wearing a knee length skirt flashed the entire viewing area several times when the wind picked up her skirt. She wasn't wearing any underwear at all. It was comical to see my Mom explain to my nieces why she wasn't wearing any underpants. They had gotten an eyeful and just couldn't get their heads around why she wasn't wearing. Everyone around us was laughing at her. Someone volunteered to get her a piece of rope so that she could tie her skirt around her knees. I don't know what she was thinking...
