Hey folks, next weekend is our trip and wondering if we will need to use sunblock. I know the temps are lower this time of year but will the sun still burn you? I have been in April 2 other times and I am really looking forward to cooler temps.

Thanks

If the sun is out it can burn you, regardless of the time of year or temp. I get sunburned in the winter when there is snow on the ground on a sunny day.

You should use sunscreen every day when you are outside in WDW regardless of weather - even on an overcast day you can get sun/UVA/UVB exposure

The only difference in Jan, is that it takes longer than July but you will get sun damage to your skin nonetheless and who wants that at WDW

thanks

You should actually wear sunblock every day. If the sunlight touches your skin it causes damage regardless of time of year or temperature.

Please wear sunblock. No matter what time of year it is,if you are outside please have on sunblock.I do skin analysis and you would not believe all the things i see,it is truly scary. Please wear sunlasses too,I checked my DBIL in my machine and you would not believe the sun damage to his eyes:eek: .So be sure to wear your:cool:and sunscreen when you are in the:sunny:

Wear the sunblock. After 4 skin cancer surgeries (including the big M ) I wear it up here if out in the sun year round now.

Another vote for sunglasses! Boy - that Florida sun is bright! We wear sunblock and we usually buy each of the kids a baseball cap at WDW to help keep the sun off their faces.
