Sun, Sand, and Disney!-A Disney and Beach Club PTR!!-Update 8/6 mini update

you will fall in love with the beach club!! it is my favorite resort on disney property. All the resorts by epcot are great!! Make sure to catch the movie on the beach at night!! popcorn::

I see you got engaged in Dec 2006 at Grand Floridian, that is great! We got engaged in Oct 2006, he proposed the one night real late while we were walking around CSR (our resort at the time). I loved everything about it!

We decided this trip that we would try the deluxe dining. On our honeymoon in November we got kind of tired of worrying about how many meals we had left and ended up paying out of pocket for several. This time we figured we wouldn't hold back and would splurge a little on the Deluxe Dining Plan:woohoo: ! We are going in September and I know that a lot of people get the free dining e-mails but I never receive anything, I don't think the free dining includes deluxe though. Here are a list of the places we are thinking of dining at:

Breakfast:
Chef Mickey's (love this buffet :lovestruc )
Cape May Breakfast Buffet
Akershus Princess Breakfast

Lunch:
Beaches and Cream
50's Prime Time
Sci Fi Dine Inn-This would mostly be for my FIL
Tucker House

Dinner:
Hoop Dee Doo-very excited for this!:cheer2:
Narcoossee's
Chef Mickey's-I know we are doing it for breakfast but I just love this place
Tony's Town Square
Ohana's
Crystal Palace
Le Cellier-need to try the cheddar cheese soup this time!

That is all we have so far, let me know what you think and any recommendations you may have. I am sure this will change by the time I go to make the ADR's. How does everyone like the new 90 day system?

We'll be on the deluxe dining plan. It's our anniversary and honeymoon we never got to take. Plus I've never eaten at the really nice restaurants..well a few but not all of them. If we were go go every year, I'd say no dining plan!!!

I'm glad to hear you like Chef Mickey's breakfast buffet! That is on my list of places to try. We couldn't get a ressie when I was there in September! Your dining plans look good so far! :)

Hi Nancy!!! I didnt know you had one of these!!! Yeah i was worried once Angela's wedding was over what i was going to read daily on here!! :rotfl: Mmm just reading your dining options make my mouth water!

subbing!
We always fly airtran out of Kansas, it's ok, and much better than driving!

Thanks for reading! I am glad to hear you liked Air tran. I agree anything is better than driving!

Great dining list! I would add Kona Cafe and The Wave for Breakfast. And also, Flying Fish and California Grill for dinner! These 4 place are always a must for us every trip!! ENJOY!!

hi there! I just found your PTR and it looks great! I saw that you got engaged at WDW, my DF propsed at MK this past December!
I have flown airtran many times and have never had any problems outside of weather delays (I am from Boston, so snow frequently messes up travel in the winter). So you should have no worries with them:goodvibes

Your food picks are making me very hungry lol! I am a huge fan of chef mickeys as well! The breakfast pizza is awesome! The hoop-dee-do is one my must do list as well!

Nancy, I'm hijacking your PTR with a pic:rotfl:

Kona looks so good! I want to try tonga toast. I bought the disney cook book the last time we were there and they have the recipe in there but you have to deep fry it and I don't have a deep fryer. Thanks for the recommendations I will look into those places.

Hi, thanks for reading! Yes we got engaged in October 06. Where in MK did your DF propose? I am glad you liked air tran. The breakfast pizza is my favorite too!

OMG, no I look like an idiot. At least you're the only one actually looking at the camera. hahah!

That is so funny you say that about looking at the camera because I remember when they were taking the picture there were two camera's going and I thought great I just looked at the wrong one.

He proposed at the wishing well by the castle, it was very sweet! Can't wait to read more of your plans!:goodvibes

Has anyone eaten at the Akershus breakfast in Epcot? I am debating on whether we should make reservations for there? I love eating with Princesses, but my DH really does not like breakfast that much, but I do. I really wish we could still make dining reservations at 180 day, 90 days seems so far away. I found out I can make mine on June 21!

I hope I don't bore anyone but I thought I might add some pictures from our Honeymoon in November. We got married September 20 but decided to wait a little bit to go on our honeymoon in November. I didn't want to rush off right after the wedding and then everything be over all at once. I am glad we waited to go. I am not really going to be able to do a day by day review of what we did because to be honest with you that was in November and this is March so I can't really remember everything that we did, but I will do my best. Also please excuse the fact that I am wearing the same sweatshirt in most of the pictures. I swear I brought a different outfit for each day but I really didn't bring anything that was warm and it was kind of cold for Florida so the sweatshirt was kind of like my jacket for the week. Also most of these are Photopass pictures, we kind of forgot our camera charger at so we didn't want to drain the battery and this was our honeymoon so most of this pictures will be of us not really of other things.

We're here! yay Magical Express:

I can't remember what park we did what day so I am doing just an overview at each park:

Animal Kingdom:
When we first got their we got fast passes for Everest and then rode Kilamanjaro Safari. I can't remember what we did next but I know we went to It's tough to be a Bug, rode Everest, saw the Finding Nemo musical which was very cute and I can't remember what else.

I love the Tree of Life
again sorry these are all of us, I took some of the Safari but they didn't come out every time I would get a good shot the lady next to me would put her head in front of my camera, it was kind of annoying.

Magic Kingdom:
Breakfast with the Princesses

I love Belle, I want to do Akershus so I can see her in her gold dress.

PB170156.jpg

Gotta love Sleeping Beauty for that gorgeous long hair and her excellent taste in ball gown colors!

I never uploaded my picture with Cinderella from photopass and I was very dissapointed that Jasmine was not there:(

image082.jpg

I have to say Captain Hook had a wonderful sense of humor, he was so determined to steal me away from Brian. Too cute!

Brian defending my honor against Captain Hook.

Donald looks so cute selling Christmas trees.

Newlyweds taking a picture in front of our future home. I wondering how hard that would be to clean!

Piglet is definitely very pink!

I love this park!

Me dragging Brian onto TOT! I love the guy in the background.

PB170150.jpg

We met this funny scuba diver at the aquarium in Epcot.

PB160090.jpg

This was the best Mary Poppins I have seen in Disney. She played the part so good even told us to stand up straight in the picture. Look how even the way she holds her feet is identical.

I hope I didn't bore anyone too bad with my pictures. I'm sorry I couldn't recap our days better.
