Summer Fireworks question

We have only been to DLR at Halloween time before, and last year we watched the halloween fireworks from in front of the castle and it was Awesome! The entire show was worth seeing from main street.

This year we are going in July, how imperative is it to see the fireworks from Main St for the regular fireworks show? Do they have the special effects, etc to make it necessary to see from Main St?

If I had my choice of where to watch fireworks, I'd pick Main Street every single time.

I love, love, love watching the Fireworks from Main Street, but I usually don't get the chance because I prefer to get the seats that I want for Fantasmic. So we usually stay on the Rivers of America for the fireworks and I still enjoy them from that vantage point.

Best place to watch the fireworks but in the summer the crowds will be backed up to the turnstiles.

So get there early and stake out your territory. Main Street's the best (well the circle in front of the castle is the best) because then you're able to see the castle projections and the ifcs (identifiable flying characters, namely Tink and Dumbo).
