summer booking for aulani

Anyone who booked Aulani for this summer
did you have any trouble booking 8 months out last year
for this summer.

We booked over the Fourth of July holiday at 7 months. Needed to,be flexible on travel,days, due to airfare,,but got,what we wanted.

So glad to hear this!!! We want to travel to Aulani around 4th of July next year and we are worried about getting what we want/need. We have some flexibility though, so thats good.

Not sure if this helps and it takes some time and patience. But we are VGC owners who want to go to Aulani but wanted to pick our travel dates. We realized if we sold our points we could book a cash reservation. It's going to end up costing us about $500 for 8 days after we sold our points but not bad for getting 8 days at exactly the time you want. If you are interested you can book a cash room through MS, cheaper than Rack rate. You only pay 1 night up until 6 days prior to travel. Fully cancelable if needed.

I should mention we are going to look for availability at 7 months and buy points from an owner should the dates be available.
