Hi, my son is in Kindergarten and has made quite a few new friends at school that he would like to invite to his birthday party. The problem is that his birthday is in July so we won't be able to hand out invitations at school. I don't have addresses for any of these children. So my question is, do you think it would be ok for me to send a note to school that each child can take home which asks for their address? If you got a note would you provide your address? Of course I would explain why I am asking but I just am not sure how to go about this or what to say. Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.

If you plant he party closer to the end of school, more of his friends will probably be able to come anyway...start planning it for July and he might find that a lot of the friends he wants to invite are away on vacation.
