I can confirm that SoaT is closing. (This comes from Imagineering.) There are discussions currently underway about Disney self-sponsoring SoaT through the end of the summer season, but that decision has not yet been made. (This information is about 90 minutes old.)

Sponsorship ends in about a week. If WDW decides not to self-sponsor, it looks like that's it.

Either way, I've had my last ride, since I'm not returning until January. It will be missed, at least by our household.

That's frustrating. My dad worked for Raytheon and was there when they started the sponsorship. I wonder why they're not renewing.

Anything new on this? WDW site still lists it under Innoventions in June. Staying open??

We were at Epcot Sunday and it was no longer on the map. It was still open, but at the time we were there, both Soarin' and TT were down so I guess all those people headed to Sum of all Thrills. The wait was close to an hour, so we skipped it. I was bummed because I've never done this and really wanted to give it a try!

Anyone have any experience getting to Test Track for standby after doing SOAT first thing at rope drop? How long a wait at TT by then?

If you are doing TT standby, definitely want to there first and then SOAT.
