One I worry about is Spaceship Earth. So far so good but if Disney decides to turn Epcot into MK Light or even just a shopping and dining venue as some have said then what does that mean for Spaceship Earth?
I believe the Siemens (current sponsor of Spaceship Earth, among other things at Disney) partnership agreement with Disney expires some time in 2017. It seems to have been a win-win to-date. Siemens makes a lot of use of the VIP space there for meetings, and, it is a pillar for brand-awareness. But, who knows if the apparent, current Disney take-everything-you-can and give-as-little-as-possible mentality is spilling over to it's partnerships to where it would sour things for a renewal of that partnership.
I've not heard one way or the other if the partnership agreement will be renewed in some form or not. And, not sure if Disney would elect to operate it on their own absent a sponsor. But you'd hope they would keep it open given Spaceship Earth is the very icon of Epcot.
