Suite at Coronado Springs

Are there Suites at Coronado Springs? A friend told me that he got a suite at Coronado Springs, plus tickets for 2 adults and 2 children for 4 days for $1850 (with AAA discount). I didn't think they had suites at Coronado Springs.....can't anybody confirm this?

And, he was asking me if this was a good price.....I told him it is usually cheaper to book room and tickets seperatly.

What else should I tell him?

Yes- they have suites there. Rack rate for the junior suite is about $300 - $400 a night, depending on the time of year. (I think there are also other suites that are more expensive.) So...they MIGHT have gotten a good deal. It all depends on the rack rate of the suite they reserved.

If it's a junior suite I believe that it is really just a connecting room with beds in one room and desk/murphy bed in another. I could be wrong but when I was quoted a junior suite room I was rather disappointed when I saw the pictures of the junior suites. It may be a perfect setup for your friend though.

The little suite looks just perfect for a small family like ours! Dh & I could have the bedroom and our small girls could share the murphy bed. Buzz2001, I love your site and the links are great! Are the suits ever discounted? We are AP holders. I have reservations already for a 2 bdrm at BWV for the first half of our Anniversary trip and thought one of these suites would be a nice place for the second half. I just love the look of CS!

I think they are discounted sometimes. When I made my last reservation, they hinted to that but I wanted a waterview room.

I had a suite at CSR reserved for November, but then went back and booked two connecting rooms for less money!
