Hi people, I'm new here on the DISboards, going to DLP (and dragging my poor boyfriend along, I pity him already
) at the beginning of August '09.
As a vegetarian, I'm wondering if any of you have any experience with the veggie meals in the parks / Disney Village / Disney Hotels? I've researched the DLP Food Guide, the Brit Guide and this forum, but it seems that my options are
a. 3-cheese salad
b. 3-cheese pizza
c. plain pasta (as in Blue Lagoon; 19.90 euros for a plain pasta and no drink is a lot of money, I think. I'm Dutch, so I'm cheap, but still... don't you agree?)
d. The Green Piece (?) Burger at Annette's Diner (expensive, but apparently, good)
I'm not fussy, I'll eat any of the above (or McDonald's) for 4 nights in a row, no problem. But since I'm paying the big bucks for them meals (and drinks!), I was wondering: do you have any tips on where to get good vegetarian food?
Me and the BF will probably go for the buffet service restaurants mostly, so if you have tips on the La Cantina (Santa Fe Hotel - we're staying here), Chuck Wagon (Cheyenne Hotel), Plaza Gardens Restaurant (DLP) or Restaurant Des Stars (WDS, is it open for dinner at all?), or ANYTHING, please let me know!! Thanks in advance.
ps. Call me stupid, but could anyone tell me what the abbreviations "SDD" and "OT" mean? I've been wondering while reading the forum!
