Hi, I am looking for suggestions where to have a table service meal in Epcot. We are a family of 4 with two kids ages almost 4 and 6. I am thinking Biergarten but I would like to plan to have either a late breakfast or very early lunch and the an early dinner.

FWIW we are traveling 11/12 - 19th.

Thanks in advance.

Alexis

we did beirgartens and really loved that place. it is a good buffet and fun enviroment to eat it in. the only one downside is that you are seated family style so that may or may not work for you. we also ate at teppen edo which was one of our favorites there. it is a habachi restaurant but once again you will be seated with other people there. we have never had a bad meal in epcot so whatever you choice i am sure you will like

Are you on a dining plan or paying OOP? IMO, buffets are not worth paying OOP for so my answer as to what restaurant would change based on your personal situation.

Also, I would not plan to have a late breakfast or early lunch and then have an early dinner (especially an early buffet dinner). That is a lot of food to be had in not a lot of time. If you have your hearts set on something like Biergarten, go with an early breakfast, otherwise you probably won't be ready for the early dinner. Another option if you want Biergarten is to go there for lunch and then pick a different (ala carte) restaurant for dinner this way if you are not that hungry for dinner it won't still cost you a small fortune. :thumbsup2

I love Chefs de France:love: I especially like the lunch menu and as an added bonus you will have a visit from Remy.

Although I haven't tried it myself I think Coral Reef might be a good option as well.

We are on the dining plan. I would be fine with having breakfast. Do any of the Epcot TS restaurants open for breakfast?

Yes, Akershus is the TS breakfast in Epcot. It is a princess character meal and the food is fairly good quality for a Disney buffet.

I would also look at Via Napoli for lunch or dinner as well as Tutto. We do not care for the food quality at Biergarten. Chefs is good for lunch be we did not find the quality to be the same for dinner. Le Cellier is also a good basic meal, as dinner is signature I would book a lunch ressie as the lunch menu is almost the same. My kids enjoyed all of these at the ages of your kids and especially enjoyed Via Napoli most recently.

I saw on the Disney Moms panel that a responder recommended having breakfast at the Cape May restaurant and then its a 5 min walk to Epcot. Is this true? WDYT of this suggestions?

Very easy quick walk to Epcot from Cape May plus you enter through International Gateway so there is much less of a line for bag check and entrance turnstiles.

Great option IMO!

That is a great option having breakfast at Cape May Cafe one of the best character meals we have ever done. The food was great, good variety, character interaction was wonderful and it wasn't crowded. I would suggest a later dinner then at either Biergarten, one of our favorites, or Chefs De France, we loved it there last year, our first try and can't wait to go back this year.

another vote for both cape may and chefs de france. we stayed at the beach club in april (but we did not actually eat at cape may) we walked by it a few times and checked it out and it looked really good. We also ate at chefs de france and it was the best meal we had at disney (and IMO, it was better than yatchmans)

We like the Coral Reef and San Angel Inn for dinner at Epcot. We also schedule Cape May Cafe for a breakfast when we are planning on being in Epcot. It's just a short walk across (comes out across the bridge - near France). Enjoy!

We enjoy the TS at both Coral Reef & Chefs de France.

My cousin recommends Akerhaus for Princess breakfast....my child does not yet enjoy the characters....

And for Quick Service - the margarita's & tacos at Taqueria Del Lago are a fun choice.
