When we are at our Halloween trip, my FIL and friend will be joining us for one evening for dinner and then for a day at Epcot the next day. I was wondering if anyone had any good resort restaurant recommendations, we have 2 children, 2 and 6 years old also. Would Ohana be good? Is there anyplace especailly magical that would be fun for all of us. We've done most of the boardwalk restaurants already, just trying to think of something new and different with maybe a fun twist?! Thanks for any help.

Well, I personally love Ohana and if you time your PS right, you can be dining during WISHES and see the fireworks from the restaurant. The 6 year old could participate the the coconut race.

Your post made me think of Boma's at Animal Kingdom Lodge. If you've never been to AKL, it's arguably the most exotic WDW resort. With it's own on-site zoo, this resort is a big hit with kids of all ages... Arrive early and visit the animals then explore this fascinating resort.... Then head for Boma's for a very good buffet meal, featuring foods from Africa. There is also a kiddie buffet for the kiddos.

My vote goes for Ohana. My son loved it there and cannot wait to go back. The waiter took him to where they cook the food to warm up his hands, my son still talks about it months later!

My vote would be Ohana's also. Nice food and atmosphere for the adults and fun things to do for the kids.

Most of the resort restaurants are very nice. I too would recommend Ohana for the atmosphere/fun&games or Boma for the food.:earsboy:

'Ohana is an excellent choice for a "mixed ages" group. Nine of us (family and friends) were there last November, ages ranged from 3, to 40s, to 66. Everyone loved it.

It is our arrival night tradition.

I think you got your answer, but Ill give my vote to Ohana too. ;)

Sorry, I didn't realize I had already said something. We are having a storm here and I think what happened is that the whole page didn't load!!! :teeth:

I would also recommend 'Ohanas and try to get a PS to see Wishes, ask for a window table.
