I have been considering adding a Magic Kingdom photo shoot to our wedding plans but I am struggling with the logistics. Typically what time to do you have to be ready for the shoot in the morning? How long does the shoot take? For those of you who have done park shoots - did you reschedule an appointment for hair and make-up or just do your own for that day?

Thanks for your thoughts and ideas.

Magic Kingdom photo shoots are only done in the morning, before the park opens. So it will probably be around... 5 or 6 a.m. (depending on early park openings or not) in the morning that you are picked up (From Passporter's). So you hafta be ready eaaarly! :rotfl: I think the shoot is an hour... not sure though. And I would think most people just reschedule their hair and make-up for this day as well. What bride wants to do their own hair/make-up that early anyways! :rotfl:

Hope that helps! :thumbsup2

I actually didn't want to have to worry about hair and make up and a longer tux rental for my MK shoot so I scheduled our MK shoot the morning of our wedding that way we only have to do everything once. Our shoot is at 5 am so hair and make up will have to get there really early. I figure i will have to get up that early another day if we have our shoot a different day so might as well kill two birds with one stone. The only down side is that we will see each other before the wedding but i think that ultimately its worth it.

My MK Photo shoot was at 5 am, one week after the wedding (we could not have it any sooner because it was so close to the 4th of July). Since we were staying off-site, we had to me at Francks at 4:45 am.

I hired Ana from Beaute Speciale to come and do my make up and hair because I cannot do hair at all. I think we started at around 3:00 am for that.

I also opted for the day of our VR
It was cheaper- hair make up once
It made the day longer to enjoy every moment of one of the most magical days of my life
We had the same Disney phptographer all day so he really got to know us

We could not get the flowers before, so the photographer has a silk bouqut which looks fine in photos also I had a septor I used in photos

It was worth every penny

We did our shoot the morning of the wedding also. I much rather wake up that early on once. I also didn't want to pay for hair and makeup twice.

Our shoot was at 6am and Patricia LeJeune showed up about 3:45am. We did EPCOT after the MK and the timing for our wedding day worked out perfectly and we weren't tired at all the whole day! :goodvibes

(Even through our DP and then EMH at EPCOT that night!)
