I just thought i would give a tip to upcoming cruisers...it is very helpfull to bring a journal with you on your cruise. This may sound stupid...but at the end of each day if you just take time to sit down and write down in a journal what you did that day it is a great thing to look back on especially if you are interested in writing a trip report. I hope that helped! :)

I had a blank book that I brought with me on the vacation. I wrote in it the night before we flew to Florida, in the airplane, and every evening of the cruise. (even on the plane going home :( ) It was wonderful and relaxing to re-live the things I did that day by writing them down (while everything was fresh in my brain.) Every once in a while I take out the "journal book" and read it. I laugh at some of the funny things I mentioned, plus I drew little pictures in the book to make it more interesting. THIS IS A VERY FUN THING TO DO, AND WILL BE A VERY GOOD KEEPSAKE FOR THE FUTURE. If you have the time and energy, go for it!

I always bring a journal with me, and always with the best of intentions...to write about my experiences every day, while they are still fresh in my mind. But somehow I always get too busy and forget all about it )or give up) after the first evening! I must have the world's largest collection of incomplete cruise journals.

What a great idea! I kept a journal when I went to Austria with my parents for two weeks in May 1998 and it has been really a great memory book for the trip--it also came in handy when they were planning another trip over there and had some questions about how we did certain things. I also have a journal book that I use to document our trips to and from Disney (where we get gas, prices, hotels, etc.) which has also been very handy as a planning device.

Not stupid at all! It's a great idea!

I waited until I got home from my last Disney trip and never finished it. I'm definitely going to try and write each night.
